It's great to see that XS is getting well received! it's strange the popular things that grow out of necessity, right? XS started as Stream Of Consciousness because TGWTG had a policy that you should release a video every month. I was on the last few days and desperate, no idea what to do. Then I went "look, why don't you just do an ad-libbed video? work on your live radio voice by just talking about what interests you!" that thought led to a wider thought where it turned into a weird, zero-budget cross between Good Mythical Morning and Idea Channel. Maybe if I ever go full time with Patreon I could go even further with daily shows! Who knows, but I'm glad you guys caught onto it, because it could have been such a disaster. XD hooray for desperation success!

I think it works because you're just a naturally likeable kind of guy. I remember not being too keen on directionless 'stream of consciousness' videos back in the day, but after watching one one day when nothing else was going, I thought "Wow, this is surprisingly engaging, I can really relate to this affable middle-earther and enjoy hearing him just express his interests and tell us what's on this mind." I don't think there are too many people who can sustain their fan following on those kinds of terms, but you certainly manage it Suede.

Right now, a weekly video seems just about right because I don't have the time to watch a daily video, but I can usually find time during the week to check it out.
