Progress Update: 6/30/23

Above, you can see that four hours of the video have been plotted out with source images and video. Each orange line is a marker denoting a spot that needs some bit of minor work done to it, such as highlighting text for quotes, each a small amount of work. Altogether, resolving those should only be another week of work.
Though I've missed my goal of having the principle editing done by the end of June, I'm making far more rapid progress as I continue simply because the material I need is more readily available (and hasn't rotted away), and if this pace continues, I should be almost, if not entirely, finished by the next progress update.
Arcaxon has run into some hurdles in the animation, but is making steady progress. I should finish just a bit before he does, and I'll slot all of his animation into the timeline as it's completed. He's taken the initiative on quite a few segments, and the results have been stellar (no pun intended).

Very excited! Been checking in about once a month to see where things are at. Very grateful you are putting the work in on this, I have been looking forward to the next DTRH video for a long time.

Here, people tend to be more interested in the process and are directly supporting, so it makes the most sense to me to give regular updates here. On YouTube, people typically just want the content, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to give too many updates there. Twitter is a little more finicky; this video has taken a long time (something about which I'm more than a little self-conscious), and while there is a lot of support and excitement, some other people get annoyed when they're reminded about how long it's taken. I also just don't like posting on Twitter, but that's a whole other story.
