Progress Update: 7/28/23

This is what a timeline looks like with nearly all relevant assets.

The vast bulk of my work is now completed; all that remains is a polish pass where I'll add the characteristic zooms, tweak audio slightly, highlight quoted text, and add text where necessary, including credits. Each orange line you see is some small thing that needs to be done during this polish pass, but compared to the work I've done so far, this is trivial and even meditative. This is the only part of the process during which I can have a Twitch stream running on my second monitor.

Collecting relevant reference visuals and B-roll was more difficult than in the past for various reasons, and took me FAR longer than it ever has in the past. This was one of the factors that slowed the editing process so much. However, with this done, it should move as fast as every other video I've created.

Now, the only thing that I need to finish this video is Arcaxon's assets. As I mentioned last week, he has agreed to offer his own progress updates as he works, which you'll be able to find below.

The real question for me now is: what do I do while I wait for Arc?

As usual, I've managed to fill my plate with more than I can handle, but among these things will be:

1. Beginning research on the Down the Rabbit Hole after this one, which I plan on being a short foray into the Luddite Movement

2. Getting paperwork sorted to permanently move continents

3. Catching up on audiobooks that I owe to patrons of the relevant tier

4. Sorting and recording a new Warrens episode with Jabroni Mike

5. Getting back in practice on the hurdy gurdy to record covers

6. Something under NDA which I cannot discuss just yet.

These are among other things, of course. Progress updates until the release of the EVE video will be split between myself and Arc. Once the final polish pass is done, I'll be splitting my time among the above, and I'll keep you all apprised about the progress on the video after this one.

Hey Everyone, it's me again Arcaxon for your weekly update!

I have been working hard on the video, and since last update I have completed 3 whole sections of the video which means all sections from 1 to 15 are now complete, in full! In total there is 28 Sections and out of those sections only 7 of those require my animations, so only 7 sections are left! Although section 27 is like MASSIVE and also contains the majority of the work.

For this week's GIFs I have a comparison between the Fanfest versions and Final versions of section 6's Titan Xplained part & of Section 4's GateCamp part.

This is the explanation about Cynosural fields and how Titans could use them; These two are depicting the exact same information but since the showing I learned that I was wrong about how Cynofields worked with Doomsday devices and remade it in it's entirety and polished it to make this new version!

I hope you enjoy these sneak peaks into the video, hopefully I can finish my part soon and I'll keep working hard until this is all done, I am looking forward to FINALLY finishing this video, it sure has been a long 2 years but the end is near!
