Thank you for the reminder! It must have been so brief because I don’t recall. I still would say that a brief acknowledgment of “wretched means” still doesn’t qualify as addressing an issue. I understand “addressing” to mean confronting an issue and discussing it in depth, which usually entails accountability and working on alternatives/solutions.

At the end of 6, Lady Whistledown was talking about Marina tricking Colin with “wretched means” while the camera was focused on Daphne. Should the acknowledgment been more underscored? ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY!!! But it’s unfair to say it wasn’t addressed at all.

2021-02-11 04:50:55 +0000 UTCI did recommend watching episode 7 ahaa. We got a flashback on interactions between Simon and his father, giving context on why he doesn't want kids. His dad was basically an ass and treated his mother horribly because of her inability to conceive. Then Simon had some learning difficulties & a speech impediment so his father basically abandoned him, making Simon resent him. 2) Last episode after the fallout of the pregnancy reveal, Colin actually stated that if Marina told him the truth, he would have protected her and married her anyways, but instead she lied and now the public knows. 3) The rape scene was not addressed and Daphne didn't apologize. An unfortunate double standard. 4) She was definitely reminiscing with the rain scene.
