Once again, it’s inaccurate because you are pointing out the aftermath of and not what started each situation. The main cast has blood on their hands simply because they were put in life or death situations by members of the originals or Katherine. I’m not saying they are squeaky clean but I don’t see why people call out the main cast as if they just go with killing as their first choice. It’s never the case with them. It was kill Kol or be killed by him but of course everyone is entitled to their opinions about the group. So I’m cool with agreeing to disagree with ya.

You're playing devil's advocate and that's fine because I also think The Originals are horrible people but that doesn't make what I said inaccurate. You also provided evidence to what Sean was stating, that EVERYONE has blood on their hands. The Main Crew, The Originals et, literally everyone has crossed somebody. The act of killing Kol was self defense in the moment as he was harming Jeremy. However, the plan to kill Kol was contrived hours beforehand by Elena as a means to complete the hunters mark and find the cure. Although being turned into a vampire is horrible, so is killing an entire sire line and ignoring warnings of Silas. Even tho Katherine was the one who ultimately awoke him, they shouldn’t have been in the island on the first place. That was Is the main cast the only people who have done things in self interest or killed someone? No, of course not

Kol and his entire family is literally the reason why Elena became a vampire in the first place and why all of their close loved ones died. We can't just call out the main cast for trying to protect Elena or help her out without calling out the people that put them in the tough situations to begin with. Plus, they didn't even wake up Silas, that was all Katherine's fault who was literally on the run and doing all this crazy stuff because of Klaus. I love the originals but their family caused all of that shit to happen.

2021-07-29 23:07:48 +0000 UTCI mean, they did put the whole world in Jeopardy despite several warning from Kol and other Witches that bringing Silas back to life or even searching for the cure is a bad thing. Majority of the crew did this so Elena can return as a human, she was a vampire for less than a year before they were like "let's go find this cure". This is just one example, but the crew has many instances where they put their self interests first, especially to protect Elena our main protagonist.

It was like a heaven or hell type thing where she couldn't get to the other side through bonnie for mysterious reasons and dragged away. That's why they had that whole little spill about Katherine not believing in a higher power and ironically ended up being dragged away as if she was going to hell/sent to be judged type deal.

Most of their battles or killing happens when it's literally them defending themselves which is pretty much always. It's also when they turn their humanity off and see things as black and white, kill or be killed type stuff.
