Maybe I should have been more clear in some details. Just to clarify. He read those books in his off-screen time. Gold, he had gathered back to pass Ros. He didn't buy a horse because he has movement speed advantage, especially through areas a horse couldn't usually climb. He also took about five hundred gold dragons from Tyrion, who is a Lannister spendthrift, making the earlier money unimportant. Ros is something that would pay off in the future, it's not a ploy that'll resolve in a few days. I'm not saying you're wrong, as I should have been clearer if it wasn't coming across correctly.

2026-03-06 08:51:06 +0000 UTCOne thing I'm disliking about the mc is how he literally seems to semi plan then just forget about it he's had so many starts to plans like buying books hiding the 200 gold dragons around stashing his spear sending ros to old town etc etc yet did nothing with any of it didnt collect any of the gold or books could have bought a horse but nope could have had supplies to leave with nope just literally nothing but whatever he managed to snatch from Tyrion before he left Just feels like for as street smart and growing intelligence he's just failing to use them

Murder of Kingsguards going unpunished, their hostages keep escaping, the Royal Line of succession even more broken with Marg’s pregnancy, and the stain of the Red Wedding (plus the purple wedding probably still happens just without LF’s help). Tyrell’s might actually try to dip even sooner, especially with Rohar warning Marg. Bad times all around.

Barristan will actually speak for Sansa since he respected Ned and knew the nuances of the stark side of the rebellion. Still will be a dangerous journey but Arya made it as well to that contient so its possible and she has someone with ultra sneak mode. Moreover will be a funny as fuck reunion with Tyrion as well down the road. Hope Barristan knights our boy for saving Sansa since he will get some flashbacks to his own feat of sneaking out the Aerys out of a fortified castle.
