To truly appreciate the complexity of the song (its like a aged fine wine). Most lyrics of Indian songs are like poetry eg. Amitabh has an extended guest appearance and in this point of the film their characters are strangers who bond over a few drinks and I can’t reveal more bc I might end up spoiling. This feautures Aishwarya’s guest appearance and is one of her most popular songs. This was offered once she came back from Hollywood where she did 5-6 back to back films out of which The Pink Panther and Bride and Prejudice were highly successful. When she appeared on the Oprah Show and The David Letterman show Bollywood welcomed her back after she was blacklisted from Bollywood and the Khans due to her nasty breakup with Salman Khan. This song’s massive success lead to the industry being willing to work with her again and she delivered hits such as Jodha Akbar and Guru. Also if you’re wondering about the dynamic all 3 of them share, this was filmed before Aishwarya and Abhishek even began dating.
