I'm sorry I've been so absent on patreon, I'm working hard to be able to find time to reevaluate the rewards and look at livestreams etc but it's so busy around here lately that I'm only just able to do Journeys on time. Soon, hopefully!

2017-08-18 20:21:36 +0000 UTCThis episode, in some ways, was a precursor to one of my favorite Pokémon episodes of all time: "The Bewildering Woods... The Dawn of Evolution!" from the XY series. It has a similar setup in regards to Ash getting lost in a blizzard and being hugged by Pokémon in a cave. But that episode was more about Ash remembering his early childhood, and figuring out how to master the bond between him and his Greninja after suffering from consecutive losses. It was quite emotionally powerful. And I think this episode would have benefitted from of the plot points I had mentioned.
