2017-12-27 06:25:06 +0000 UTCHere's a missing trivia fact. In Japanese, Giovanni introduce himself as Giovanni to Gary Oak. But in English, he refers himself as the Gym Leader. This is rather a missed opportunity as Giovanni in the English dub was only referred as the Boss and this would have been a great moment to introduce the Boss as Giovanni. It's surreal given that English Mewtwo Strikes Back prologue refers to him as Giovanni but never outright state that he's the Boss of Team Rocket (Visually, you can connect the dots, but you'll have to be a big fan to know who the man with the Persian is).
