Top 5 Worst Episodes of Season 1

It saddens me you had to mention Misty Mermaid at all. But at least it was a low dishonorable mention. She looked really good in that outfit and there's no denying that. :) As for Beauty and the Beach...I keep thinking to the 10-11 year olds in 1998-2001 who watched the episode initially. But I will say they were in the right for doing it to begin with. As some one who was 11-12 when DP was out, I crushed on Dawn a ton. Still do have a strong connection to this day. I can only imagine what kids got a crush on Misty thanks to that episode. I can only hope Misty Mermaid did that more than this episode. Also, my friend and I riffed the japanese version recently. We had a ton of fun.

Honestly, I can't agree with you on Path to the Pokemon League. It is very clearly implied that AJ's Pokemon choose to remain with him of their own free will and the message is clearly that his training philosophy, while not for everyone, is equally valid to Ash's.

My only criticism is that page image in question of Pikachu's Global Adventure doesn't really showcase the episode in question, but I could understand if you don't want to show the exact quote based on the last chat.

Cool I do think the link is missing that's for the challenge of the samurai but I agree looking back the episodes are not as good as we used to know and remember.
