Help me choose what to do for Xmas!

I might even double down on this recommendation, considering that in my marathon, I am reminded that Linkara's favorite Pokemon is gold, and Christmas is a hack of Gold. And you two have had good chemistry in the past!

second: If you just want to do one video might i suggest your long time fans a "gift" and re-review Pokémon the 1st movie in "Journey" Format? I mean you could make the argument the message of that movie is "good will to all men" so it is kind of seasonal. anyways those were my ideas. I'm sure what ever you decide will be great!

first: I see a lot of suggestions of a DBcember/Disneycember/Long box of the damned/ anthology series. usually those are done a while in advance but if you made the videos a short length (2- 5 minutes for example) you could maybe do a "12 days of the Y.M.C.A (deep cut!)" or "12 days of Suede-mas" and count down you favourite Pokémon to use in the games. it might be too much work in too little time, but there's always next year.

I’d vote for a Christmas-themed Calling it Now. “Itsudatte My Santa!” is an obvious choice, and “Choccoto Sister” is another. Both are Christmas-themed anime that fit more with the western version of the holiday, not just episodes with a Christmas theme. I haven’t watched them myself, but reviews and IMDb seem to suggest they both pass your family-friendly test.

Since it will be AT LEAST 6 years before you move on to the advanced Generation, how about doing a Pokemon Journey review for the first episode of a different Pokemon series? Maybe for X and Y which many people praise, or for Sun and Moon which is fantastic in terms of animation? I personally hope you do oe for the first episode of Diamond and Pearl, as I personally think it has the best first episode of any Pokemon series, and I would love to hear your review of it.

Pikachu's Winter Vacation from Pokemon Chronicals has several shorts to choose from. I reccommend the one where Pikachu and the other pokemon play with all the decorations and accidentally destroy everything. That one always stood out to me when I remember those shorts!

Perhaps a calling it now for a Christmas movie series's first movie? The problem with that is that the well known Christmas movies with any sort of sequel or followup are probably already known. The home alone movies spring to mind... I would like a calling it now, though.

They're all roughly 3 minutes and not terribly deep. I'm not certain, but I can't imagine it'd be worse than a calling it now.

You could always do a review of the pokemon generations miniseries leading up to Christmas. Maybe not one a day since you'd likely needed to have started work on that already, to hit all 18 before the 25th, It's not quite in the spirit, but but I can't imagine it'd be too much work.

Hmmm, I like the idea of a Christmas themed Calling It Now, but I'm drawing a blank on most Christmas themed anime episodes. The only one that's coming to mind is the Christmas episode of Sakura Quest (episode 20: The Phoenix in the Holy Night), which I appreciated because I thought it would be full of cringe but it's actually really good.

Wow, you really have to mention the Christmas Bash Album, Suede? The only thing I can say for that album is that it's living proof that the English dub will cut out any scene of Ash singing (and I don't mean a few lyrics in a low tone) even if it's a big (and awesome) deal in Japan.

You could do something along the lines of a Top 12 Christmas-Themed Anime Episodes/Films, or take a look at a different aspect of Pokemon you haven't tackled yet like a quick look at one of the manga's (Adventures, Electric Tale, Magical Pokemon Journey) in honor of the holidays? And...I'm not sure if you already have plans for this or not but...perhaps a return of the Pokemon Movie Reviews under the tree this year?

As others have said there's another set of Pikachu's Winter Vacation episodes that you haven't covered yet, one of which Delibird's Dilemma, has a Christmas theme, so I would suggest a Journey on that one and its companion, Snorlax Snowman. They both aired as the 4th episode of Pokémon Chronicles.

Well, there's a Pokemon ROM hack for Gold called 'Pokemon Christmas'...? Maybe you and Linkara could get together and do 12 hours worth of it (not necessarily all at the same time, of course). Then you could have the "12 Days... Er Hours Of Christmas". .... I guess it might be a bit late to get enough episodes to start releasing the episodes up to Christmas, though. ;)

I know you already did the stanters little helpers but there were a bunch of Pokemon Christmas shorts compiled onto a single tape called Pikachus Winter Vacation :) there were even weird Pokemon transitions just like Pikachus Vacation! I’d love to see you look at them as well!

My suggestion would be the Pokémon XY episode “Under the Pledging Tree”. I know it’s kinda cheating since you haven’t touched on the XY series yet but there is a nice Christmas theme in that episode.
