Actually, this bugs me, too. So we've just got to take it for granted that Psyduck found his own way back to his pokeball without anyone noticing? Really? "Stealthy" is not a word I would ever use in connection to Psyduck And was the glowing tail Psyduck the girl crazy one?

I wonder what kind of personality misty's golduck would have if her psyduck evolved? it seems like hers would be way different than the one in this episode (obviously aside from the girl-chasing)

it was said to be a sign that psyduck was evolving, nothing else apart from that

Zubat is likely in so many games because caves. Magnemite and Magneton are usually found in or near man-made centers of electrical power: the power plant, new Mauville, Fuego Ironworks, and the Virbank Complex. The dreamworld and friend safari can have anything GameFreak wants; and Hau'oli City, Malie City, and the Lost Hotel are a bit of a stretch but they're reasonable. Route 38, Route 39 of Johto are the only ones that feel really out of place since the only thing I can think of is that they're next to the city that has a lighthouse lit by an Ampharos. No idea what's so special about ducks and/or kappas that they need to be everywhere.

Huh I never realized the whole Zubat, Psyduck, and Magnemite thing despite always really liking Magneton. Now Im curious why.

Hmmm, Golduck getting a third form... well Golduck itself may be built enough to do something with an eviolite, but I'm not sure it has the moves for it. A third form would get rid of the terrible speed but it still faces tough competition for usage from Geninja and...Suede's already found a way to make New Zealand even farther away to avoid my competitive Pokemon musings, hasn't he?
