Format around copyright strikes

If we're talking about the automated copyright strikes, the ones incurred by bots programmed to search videos for specific frames you can dodge them by flipping the video or increasing/decreasing the video speed. If it's actual humans paid to look for footage then you're a bit out of luck using actual footage.

Fun idea: for one episode only, re-enact the episode in live action with yourself and other human actors. It would obviously be hard to pull out, but it be fun just once for maybe a very notable episode or anniversary or something like that.

I think Little Kuriboh has avoided copyright issues with his YuGiOh GX reviews (either that or he's just a master of working the system). Maybe the Journey episodes could start formatting a bit more akin to those?

*Should*, yes. However, the problem is that while the dispute is going through on whether it's fair use or not, the videos are unvavailable. So the person has to wait for weeks at a time before their videos can be monetized.

Naw I think five minutes is good if they are considering doing full episodes they should do an endurance test.

I would recommend taking a small piece of a video (one you've already done, perhaps), and going through, say, 5 minutes of script with the three above thoughts. That way, not only can people say "This is good," or "This doesn't work," but you can say for *yourself*, "OK. That is too much anxiety," or "The editing work on this just takes too long," or "Oh my *GOD* this is the most fun thing *EVER!!!*" EDIT: I just considered how long 5 minutes is, especially considering things like sketches. Lower that to 1 minute or so; long enough to get a good feeling, but not so long that if it's really a lot of trouble, you're tearing your hair out.

Screencaps seems like the most practical option. However, if it wouldn't mean too much additional work, a puppet sketch or two per episode would be hilarious.

Maybe screencaps are best when you're stopping to focus on a particular moment and discussing it. Although, it'll be sad that we wom't get to hear your funny impersonations of Misty. Would this format mean that you can't comment/show the funny line deliveries by the characters VAs?
