I've just figured out that I can scehdule patreon posts to turn up on a select time and date....that means i can just plough all the pages ive done in now and just set days for it to happen....That's pretty useful *smug mode activated*
Errrr the next few pages are kinda dark for me, if folk have been paying attention to my twitter I went on a bit of a weird blip the past few days, it was mainly due to pages 286 and 287 but 285 played a part in that too.
Getting a bit too up close and personal with my real life here and didn't really mean for so much of it to leak into the comic. But i guess its cheap therapy forcing me to address these things... So here's a ladel of daddy issues to start things off.

2020-05-12 13:05:50 +0000 UTCYou know, despite the... things that have happened in later chapters, star’s story arch reminds me a lot of Zuko’s story arch from Avatar, TLAB. In a sense, both characters are troubled souls with a complicated family past. They try to find their way through life, while trying to get the approval of a father figure who did not only scar them, but doesn’t care for them , or is out for himself. They both feel overshadowed by relatives, and other family members who their fathers approve of and cling to a past we’re they truly felt loved. They both find counsel and comfort in a wise, parental figure and a group of unexpected friends. They learn through their mistakes, and eventually become better people because of it.
