Ive been in a similar situation to this a few times. seven years ago we were selling our house and the estate agents put all the photos of the house up on various property websites. One of our friends who doesnt know about my little side is super nosey and one of her hobbies is to go on these sites and look at peoples houses. so knowing we were selling she went and snooped around the photos that the estate agent had put up of our house.
Now top bedroom on our house was my nursery. We'd cleared a lot of stuff out of it, tried to make it presentable but that didnt really get away from the fact that the walls were primary coloured teh curtains clearly nurseryish and there were toys (albeit tidied away) (lets not go into the fact you could also clearly see a pack of tena's finest under teh dining room table that we had somehow missed but turned up quite happily in the house photos)
Anyway one night down the pub stella starts asking questions about the nursery she's known us for several years by this point and knows we dont have kids so me and husband/daddy look at each other and he then says words to the effect of We have a neice who comes to play often enough that that room is where her toys are. then stella starts asking questions like ooh how old and what is she into and all this stuff so hes answering her but talking about me in little mode...gosh I wanted the ground to swallow me up HAHAH it was kinda cool and super embarrassing at the same time.....

2020-05-08 18:29:38 +0000 UTCI can relate to the comic. I was with my Mommy shopping at Buy Buy Baby here in the states and a sales clerk came up and starting asking all the same questions. I thought I was gonna die of embarrassment. Mommy took it all in stride though.
