Thinking about it, with the return of the dark ball. I’m surprised there hasn’t been anything in the journey that makes you go all “Brock with Prof. Ivy is mentioned”.

With Wounded Gazelle, the one being fooled is also the primary victim, whereas with Bendy, the one being fooled is an unwitting accomplice and the primary victim is someone else. Wounded Gazelle is about tricking someone into lowering their guard so you can attack them. Bendy isn't about the attack itself but the way you deflect blame for it.

2024-09-30 20:00:41 +0000 UTCI'd say that's more generally playing the victim when you're not. A Bendy is different because they need to set up a villain as well as themselves as the victim. You need at least three people for it, while a Wounded Gazelle Gambit only needs two.
