I agree whole heartidly with this. In fact my ex-fiancee used to do exactly that. Thats why it was important for me to Show Tessa actually reflecting and apologising because all too often I was just thrown into a little headspace and as a result my arguments werent seen equally I guess

While I know it’s just a comic, I have witnessed people in real life use a subs buttons to end an argument over boundaries and possible boundary violation. This is not an activity I condone as far to often those buttons put the person in a headspace where they can’t properly handle the issues so then those issues build up inside them instead of being dealt with.
