I just pray she’s not gonna walk into a room full of her coworkers parading and lamenting on her private life like it’s a sports event. That’s something you never really get over, first hand experience saying that here
2020-11-24 04:54:07 +0000 UTCI have a theory....Star ardently asked Martin not to tell Manda about this against his own judgment, yet if you re read some of the earlier pages, Manda herself says it’s pointless to try to keep secrets from her. If Martin honored her wish though, my guess is that one of his contacts to fix this blackmailing issue might be Tessa. Star, again if you re read, wonders, based on her domineering demeanor, whether Tessa must work at the base, too. If this is all the case, Tessa would’ve likely told Manda about what’s going on in turn. Or maybe, if Marrelis let it slip on the base, maybe Tessa, again assuming she works there, too, may have heard it and went to Manda with the distressing news. I suppose we’ll see. Great work as always. The suspense is murder lol.

Even if he was there as well, that doesn't give him the right to expose Star like that. And the fact that others are playing along, and treating her this way, that's not okay. They themselves can be given disciplinary action for associating in hazing their comrades. I'll say this, I hope that Manda and Martin got some tricks up there sleeves/friends in high places to give Marellis his comeuppance. Sorry if I am sounding emotional here, but being a witness to hazing, and speaking up about it, hazers to this day still grind my gears.

Here I go about to gush again, but I really do love this story so much. Even though you've said it will have a happy ending for Star, the suspense is just killing me. I (jokingly) hate Monday pages because I have to wait all week for the next one!
