I should point out that this is an adult comic...You all know that by now right? This page I guess could be described as the calm before the storm. I really like some of the panels in this page. It makes me wanna go hug paul.

(I say "most" considering how she reacted when the mother walked in in the previous page) I think that signifies that either she hasn't fully came down from the drugs, or the drugs could also have some permanent side effects which would make sense when you think about it.
2022-07-04 07:35:07 +0000 UTCI think just psychological abuse. Building up fear and then yanking it away can cause an emotional reaction as if you did something really nice. Weird defect in the way our brains are designed; it's one of the big reasons people stay in abusive relationships.
