I was coincidentally up in New England visiting family when Ida started bearing down on New Orleans, so I am safe and far from the affected area. My neighbors tell me that damage in our neighborhood was relatively minor, so I'm cautiously optimistic that my house (and all my audio/video/lighting equipment, costumes, etc) is okay.
However, the power will be out for some time β weeks, they're saying, so I don't know when I'll be able to return. This may delay my video production significantly. I'll keep y'all posted.
