And that's how the scene ends. Not with a bang, but with the lights going out as our heroes continue on their respective paths.
I really wanted this scene to end on a more positive note, but who are we kidding - Troy's known this guy for 1.5 days, some of the worst of her life, and Dan goes ahead and pulls..this. My wishful thinking could only do so much. After a bunch of rewrites Io came in and really made it work, first mirroring Eve's exit from Dreamspace 3:

and then those final words from Troy that better be a wake up call for Dan, because DAMN. MY EMOTIONS.
Anyway, I'll stop stealing material from Io's future script commentary.
Next week we're actually gonna check up on our other characters, a much needed break for everyone involved.
