In this second episode of the new DEEP DIVE INTO DNB DRUMS series we have a look at synthesizing snare drums from scratch using Xfer Records Serum. I'll show you how to setup a full snare patch that will work in modern Drum & Bass (think people like Noisia, Imanu, Mefjus, and so forth). We will go over designing the fundamental parts, plus I'll show you how to work on creating resonances in the snare tail without using any samples.
