June Patreon Pack (Field Recordings)

Pfew, that took some time but I had to figure out where to host the files this month since this pack is BIG! A little backstory about this months pack:

Almost 20 years ago a Dutch website was launched called Sound Transit, which was a website which purpose was to create a database of field recordings, which would allow visitors of the site to 'book a trip around the world' by picking a place on a map and the site would give you field recordings from that area. Over the years hundreds of users uploaded field recordings to this website up until the website was taken offline in late 2014. Back in June of that same year, I decided to download all of the field recordings from the website since it's a goldmine of sounds to add to tracks to fill out the background. Ever since then, these have been sitting on my harddrive and I figured, let me share them.

Due to the filesize of these long recordings, the quality isn't the best, since the website used MP3 files to save on web storage space, so no WAV quality on these. However, there are 2070 field recordings in total, with a total filesize of over 7GB.

All the names of the original people who recorded the original files can be found in the metadata of the samples. This pack probably won't stay up forever, since it's so big, so I guess grab it while you can.
