Augmented Aspects (New Story- Don't know if it will last)

Cassie Cruise is a regressor, one who is caught in the world of her favorite gaming world, Biprism Realm. A world filled with magic, portals, pocket realms, towers to eternity, monsters, and most importantly of all steampunk elements. Hordes and hordes of monsters constantly come surging through the world, destroying everything in their wake. Only the civilized societies and their technological marvels are truly capable of repelling monster waves.
It is a world filled with memories of her past, present, and most of all her future.
Most people would have balked at the idea of spending their retirement in a virtual world. Selling their pension for a chance at a better start in a new world filled with magic, mayhem, and monsters. Fortunately, Cassie was one who wished to sell everything. Sell away her years of slavery to a corporate job, all for a chance at a better future inside the game world she grew up watching with her parents. A world where her parents went to for their own retirements. A world that ultimately consumed them and destroyed them from the inside out.
Having seen the life of her parents, Cassie decided to go in with a plan. Rather than banking on possible restarts, she decided she would throw everything she had into one glorious start. Throwing away her future for the best possible start imaginable, she attempts to do what many before her have tried to do and failed at miserably. She is going to make something of herself in her new life as a regressor.

2022-12-29 18:04:35 +0000 UTCI do hope I am getting incrementally better at the very least. Each time I learn different things from yours and others' feedbacks that help me tell better stories. I also try to change up voices and perspectives with each story as well. So hopefully each story is a wholly unique experience.

2022-12-29 15:56:47 +0000 UTCI agree on some level about worrying about story quality, however I will say it can be good on some level. Using the current three works as an example, each of them are good, this third story seemed to hit the sweet spot for me. Second better than first. Without knowing all details of Lykans life, it may be safe to say writing is a learning process and what works for him is to exercise that skill often and varied.

2022-12-29 15:09:35 +0000 UTCDo admire how many stories you have, but don't you worry about lack of quality or time to commit to your other stories? Really Like the Alex story and the 13 ward one was ok before went wonky. This might be a time to focus on improving the stories you have vs branching out to more. Quality over quantity.
