Toni Braxton was cursed due to going bankrupt twice but I think has turned it around now

Milli Vanilli got caught lipsynching July 89. The Grammys still awarded them Best New Artist anyway. It is baffling how you had acts like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Tupac, Alice In Chains, De La Soul, PJ Harvey, among others come out around that time and change the musical landscape. Yet none of these acts were up for Best New Artist or major categories such as AOTY. The Grammys still continue to make the same decisions today. Great video Crash and thank you for the content.

I could have sworn Warm It Up was the follow up to Jump. I had that album in 5th grade oddly enough.

Interesting story related to the 1990 section: I was born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut. This city is home to Lake Compounce, the oldest still-operating amusement park in the US. Apparently they hosted a bunch of live concerts back during the 80s and 90s because the management had no idea how to operate a goddamn amusement park. One of those concerts was for Milli Vanilli. And it was during that exact concert, which was being recorded for MTV, that their playback equipment malfunctioned and it exposed them as lip-synching. In other words, my hometown's most notable contribution to the music industry is destroying the career of Milli Vanilli.

I'm working away this weekend, this is literally the perfect timing! Dead excited!
