I can only say: Wait for the 2nd Half. Some of your Questions, i think get answered ( but even in the Light Novels the Author didnt gave Answers for Things like why Satella wants Subaru to kill her and why she is so fixated on him (its still a Mystery even after 23 LN VOlumes) I read some Stuff why she is like this, but since Patreon dont have a Option to hide Spoiler or anything, i dont will write down anything ( like i said, if i remember correctly some Things get answered in the 2nd Half of Season 2 in January 2021)

2020-10-01 23:01:36 +0000 UTC(Doubt its necessary to say this since its not the youtube comments, but I don't want any spoilers answering these questions) I will be honest, I don't like the sudden shift, it was only a few episodes ago that Satella seemingly murdered the entire sanctuary and essentially kidnapped Subaru. Speaking off, if she really is on his side and has the power to intervene like that, why not help him by taking out the assassins or something instead of just swallowing the sanctuary? Why doesn't she let him tell anyone about his power? From the outside it seems as if there is no 'real,' connection between Satella and the Witch's cult, but considering the immense grudge he holds against them (and until this point, Satella by extension), why didn't he ask any questions about them? I'm not entirely against this turn of events, but it just felt out of nowhere for me...
