The only point of contention in the watch order is when to watch Kizumonogatari. Some recommend watching it second, right after Bake; this is based on the release order of the novels. Other recommend watching it second to last, right before Owari; this is based on the release order of the anime. I side with the latter, but the former is probably the more popular order. It's basically a question of when you want to go into the MC's backstory, in a series that otherwise focuses on the stories of everyone except the MC.

A good measure for the quickly flashing texts: If it is too fast to read without pausing, it's probably not super duper crucial information, but it can add to the experience if you manage to read some of it! I believe the best ordering to go for is: 1. Bakemonogatari 2. Kizumonogatari 3. Nisemonogatari 4. Nekomonogatari: Kuro 5. Monogatari Series: Second Season 6. Hanamonogatari 7. Tsukimonogatari 8. Owarimonogatari Season 1 9. Koyomimonogatari 10. Owarimonogatari 2nd Season 11. Zoku Owarimonogatari

Btw it is translated in this version as heavy stone god but i also saw a version where it is translated as emotion god. Nisioisin loves wordplay and it is very difficult for non japanese people to understand a lot of the worldplay. An example in this episode crab=gami and god=kami.
