I intended for this to be up yesterday, but it took me longer than I expected to get some elements of it working the way I wanted. I also experimented with a modification of the thumbnail style, let me know what you think of it! I hope you guys enjoy the video, and are excited for me to finally react to Made in Abyss :D

I hope checking for gifs doesn't spoil anything for you =| btw, the song that plays as Riko and Reg are overlooking the Abyss is called "Hanezeve Caradhina"; believe it or not, they're lyrics are based on a made up language created by the composer if I remember correctly, and it has yet to be translated as far as I know. There's so much to love about this show. This first episode is a really good example of how first episodes should be done. Riko is instantly endearing; it made obvious that she's the type of person that almost always looks upon things with wonder rather than fear, especially when it involves the many mysteries of the Abyss, whereas with Reg it's pretty much the opposite. The music and visuals are also gorgeous. and the world itself is easy enough to understand, but with enough mystery to keep it interesting. It's funny how you mentioned Studio Ghibli, since the art director for this show actually worked there on a number of their movies. It does have a bit of that flavour. And it would be cool if it was a game. The background art kind of reminds me of Breath of the Wild.
