2021-03-10 14:30:21 +0000 UTCYeah, I don't think bypassing the curse is as easy as you'd like it to be; similar to the Fog Weave cloth, you can't even feel it despite flowing around you, and unlike Fog Weave, it can't be seen. It's only when you break through where the effects hit you. There's basically no way to tell how much you can afford to ascend unless you're able to actually discern whatever it is that's inflicts the curse. It's one of the main reasons why Reg believes Nanachi would be of great help to the team. Speaking of which, get ready for some major Nanachi lore next episode XD looking forward to your reaction. Also, something interesting that not many people point out about the whole scene with Kiyui being sick; right before they left, Reg went to Kiyui's room to say goodbye, and he mentioned that his birthday was "tomorrow", yet from Riko and Reg's perspective it's been weeks since then. Was that scene a flashback, or does it have something to do with the Time Dilation theory that Ozen mentioned? 'Cause I could swear she said that it feels as if time is moving slower the deeper you go, not the other way around. That dream that Riko had really makes you think; what does it all mean? Why did she seem to be tightly incased in what looked like a Cocoon? Why was she crying alone in the empty void? Why was there hole with a bloody red eye looking through? Why was that person crying as well? Was it really Mitty? Why did Riko approach the hole so close that their eyes literally touched? And why is it that in the next shot Riko was free of the cocoon and covered in a peculiar liquid? I'm hoping you theorize on this XD Btw, seriously looking forward to the movie =) it's quite honestly a masterpiece, even when comparing it with this season of the anime.
