Adaption Notes for Episode 3 and Informations about Shinos New "Toy" that she obtained in GGO (thx to a lot of Luck): ---Shino's thoughts about school were omitted. ---The background for Shino's relationship with Endou was omitted. ---In the anime, it was not explained how Shino got the model gun. (The Model Gun is called «Procyon SL» and is an optical, fully-automatic handgun from Gun Gale Online. A Real Life model of it was awarded to some participants of the second Bullet of Bullets) ---Asuna's reaction to the news about Kirito converting his account to another game was less dramatic than in the novel. ---Kirito and Asuna were seen with rings on their fingers in ALO, despite the lack of a marriage system in ALO. ---Kazuto did not listen to the recording of Death Gun's voice at home in the novel. Instead, he listened to it at the cafe during his meeting with Seijirou. ---In the novel, people were seen exchanging ideas about Death Gun via BBS, but in the anime, they were seen of exchanging ideas via nickonicko livestream video service (a reference to niconico). Sinon acquired Hecate II after going to the dungeons below SBC Glocken and falling down a chute trap. She ended up in the lowest floor of the dungeon, the place with the highest level of danger, in a stadium-like area. In that room was a strange monster that she had never seen, although she thought that it was probably a boss-class monster. She thus went to an air vent at the top of the stadium and continued to shoot the boss, who was unable to reach her with any of its attacks due to her being too far. She had to make sure that every single bit of ammunition hit the boss's weak-point, since she was almost out of range and thus the damage to the boss would be minimized. After three hours of struggling, the boss dropped a rare piece of equipment that she had never even seen, the «PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II» ---In the real world, Hecate is classified as Anti-Material Rifle due to its incredible power, which gives it the ability to penetrate vehicles and buildings. (Usage of 12.7x99mm NATO Ammunition) ---In real life, the Hecate II is almost as long (138 cm) as Shino is tall (161 cm), and weighs over 13.8 kilograms (30.42 pounds) with the scope attached (14.4 kg loaded with Ammo and Scope attached), thus it would be extremely difficult for someone of her size to lift, let alone aim and fire in Real Life. ---If Sinon were to sell the gun in-game, she could use GGO's currency conversion to receive about 200,000 yen. (Around 1800 Dollar)

First, Asada Shinos entire Backstory: Asada Shino was born on August 21, 2009. In late December 2010, Shino and her parents were involved in a motor vehicle collision on a secluded mountain road, which resulted in the death of her father as no help could arrive on time. Due Shino's mother becoming traumatized by the ordeal, the girl started living with her grandparents (Parents of Shinos Mother) and decided to become strong enough to always protect her mother.(Shino has no memories of her father or his appearance, as he died when Shino was only one year old, while her mother erased all photographs and videos of him after the traffic accident.) In late 2020, Shino was accompanying her mother at a post office, when a man armed with a Type 54 "Black Star" handgun entered the building, demanding money from the staff. The moment the robber threatened to shoot Shino's mother if his demands were not met, the girl wrested the pistol from him and pulled the trigger, resulting in the man's death. As a result of the incident, Shino developed an intense fear of guns and a slight apprehension of men, leading to her being ostracized throughout elementary and middle school. Adaption Notes for Episode 2 ---In the original novel, Sinon's PGM Ultima Ratio Hécate II was a boss drop, but in the anime, it was changed into a quest reward. ---The scene where Ginrou commented about the scenario if Sinon missed was not part of the original novel. ---In the original novel, Ginrou only used the nickname Sinocchi once, calling her Sinon in all other instances. ---In the novel, the Mob hunting squadron was only spotted 20 minutes after Ginrou attempted flirting with Sinon. In the anime, the squadron was spotted immediately after the scene. ---The ALO scenes were not part of the novel. ---In the anime, Kazuto did not tell Asuna about converting his avatar to GGO during their date, instead, he told her about it while in ALfheim Online.

Adaption Notes for Episode 1 ---Kazuto's comment about Yui having a little sister after seeing the twin girls was omitted. ---Seijirou and Kazuto's conversation was greatly shortened. In the anime, they immediately began talking about the Death Gun incident, while in the novel they first talked about various other topics. ---Various off topic remarks during Seijirou and Kazuto's meeting were omitted, including the joke about Usujio Tarako's and Hokkai Ikkura names. ---Seijirou and Kazuto's discussion on the limit of AmuSphere functions was omitted. ---Seijirou's talk about the Inuit Kiviak and how it resulted in the women of the nearby table leaving in disgust was omitted. ---In the novel, Seijirou gave Kazuto a copy of the recording of Death Gun's voice to listen to. ---Seijirou and Kazuto's meeting was changed into a flashback. ---The conversation among Dyne's squad while they were waiting for their targets to show up was omitted.
