From the Light Novel a scene was omitted at the beginning of the episode: After the teleportation, the heroes met. The other heroes were astonished as Naofumi had managed to take other people next to his group while Naofumi had wondered why the other heroes had not done the same thing. The other heroes seem to know well about this "game". Naofumi told the others that he was going to the village to protect the inhabitants and the other heroes were going to beat the wave Boss during that. While they were on the way Filo kicked Motoyasu AGAIN and send him flying. ABout the Old lady, it never get really explained even in the LN, but she thinks for herself that her Level is around 85-90. Furthermore, his Shield of Rage from the Wrath Series evolved from Shield of Rage I to Shield of Rage II -Weapon: Shield of Rage Ⅱ -Requirements: Armor that consumes the user "Growth Up" due to stone of the Zombie Dragon -Equipment Bonus: Change Shield (Attack), Iron Maiden -True Power: Unsealed -Special Effect: Self-Burning Curse Physical, Strength Up, Roar of the Raging Dragon, Frenzy of Companions Btw: SP is a Special Ressource that only Heroes use. They need this to use there Respective Weapons Skills, if its empty, they cant use them.

2021-05-15 14:40:40 +0000 UTCAlso with regards to levelling, there's certain rules that haven't been explained in the manga/light novel and the current season only goes into a few mechanics. Best way to explain the power split between Naofumi and the heroes it is that the other heroes use a pokemon that's 20 levels higher than their other ones where as Naofumi has lower level mons but they have even levels, good ivs, good abilities, good evs, set up and status moves etc. Also, Naofumi tries every equipment/skill/item available to him since he doesn't have any real support when it comes to surviving the world outside his team/some other people and the other heroes started the game OP with support so they didn't bother investing as much time improving their character skill tree.

2021-04-20 15:06:31 +0000 UTCTo answer your question: YES, the other weapons can absorb pretty much anything, however, I doubt they think about it. Naofumi's shield can absorb anything, and it'll unlock a new shield the majority of the time. Imagine making a video game where you can pick up anything, and everything gives you a new named ability and a reskin, that video game is not feasible to create, I assume that the other heroes would only pick up things that would be considered loot in their previous worlds, and even then, they would probably skip the stuff they know gives very weak weapons thinking its not worth their time. This is what I assume is the reason for their weapons still being pretty vanilla: they know what gives the "OP" weapons and beeline for that, ignore everything else, and don't even try what wouldn't be considered loot in a game.

2021-04-20 12:41:57 +0000 UTCIron Maiden "trivia," I dunno if you found it a bit cheap that he simply unlocked a new ability we've never heard of when he needed it (I know I did), but in the novels, he unlocked it before. To be exact, he unlocked it vs the Dragon Zombie when he first used the rage shield, combining the rage shield, needle shield, and shield prison. However, in the Dragon battle, he didn't meet the requirements to use it yet.
