No problem I enjoyed your reaction, to answer the question on why little Cereza was brought to the future well, when the witch hunts happened and Rosa(Bayonetta's mother) died Bayonetta lost the will to keep fighting, so Jeanne sealed her away to keep her and the left eye safe(since Bayonetta is the left eye the Umbra Witches weren't allowed to kill her) but since she lost her memories, she couldn't activate the left eye. Once Cereza saw how confident and powerful Bayonetta was, she was inspired and when when her mother died, she didn't lose the will to fight. Instead she and Jeanne fought their way through the witch hunts together. However, that happens in a spilt timeline, so the events that happened in this movie still happen, however Bayonetta was still affected by the change because of the left eye. That's the best I can explain it.
