The Girls Name was Rino. And yes the Rest you mentioned, its correct. Even though i last Read the Books over 1 1/2 Years ( i have Volumes 15 to 17 lying around, but i spoiled myself accidentally and know that a Certain Character dies in Volume 15, which is why i didnt found the Courage to read further, it will left me depressed^^) Rino joins Motoyasu's party after he flirts with and invites her, however, she is quickly shocked by the other girl's disposition, as in they'd rather be Motoyasu's cheerleaders than his comrades. Finally, Malty tricked her and sold her to a slave shop at the end of the day and told Motoyasu that Rino left because she felt that she didn't fit in. Sometime later as Motoyasu is walking through an alleyway he hears her voice but fails to accept it due to his delusions preventing him from noticing things that would be bad for his image of his surroundings (refusing to believe his comrades would've sold her as a slave), even when she calls out for help Motoyasu simply assumes it's a professional prostitute acting out someone's fantasy because of the sounds coming from the room and the nature of the shop it's coming from. Her fate after which remained unknown.

Reasons to feel bad for Malty? There are none... She is racist towards demi humans, almost succeeded in completely ruining Naofumi's life for the sake of her own benefit, and then she repeatedly tried to make him suffer for no reason other than her own amusement. She tried to kill her own little sister to get the throne for herself, and it was implied in a side story in the first book that she sold other party she got jealous of into slavery so she could keep Motoyasu for herself. She is purely evil, nothing else. This might sound strange considering they changed her in the anime to be the one suggesting her own family be executed, but in the novels, the queen was in some ways a lot colder (despite asking Naofumi to forgive them enough to not have them executed). For example, the queen berated Malty/Myne for ostracizing and framing Naofumi instead of "domesticating him and keeping him for herself" and saying that if she had done so she'd have probably earned back her right to the throne. (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 300) She also kind of view everyone as pawns (though not as badly so as Malty), which was shown clearly when she told Naofumi to marry Melty purely based on the idea that turning the royal lineage into the shield hero's lineage would put them at an advantage over Siltvelt (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 298). Naofumi tried to get out by saying that "[He doesn't] plan to lay his bones to rest in this shitty world," to which the queen responds "that won't be nessecary as long as Melty becomes pregnant with your child," (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 300) and defending herself against Itsuki throwing accusations at her with the phrase "Use her..? Very well, are you telling me that in your world there where no politically arranged marriages?" (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 299) The above was made slightly more reasonable when it was revealed that the queen thought the King's repeated tomfoolery had soured relations with Siltvelt and Shieldfreeden enough that either or both of them could attack at any moment (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 317), but I can still kinda see partly where Malty got some of her traits from. Myne was slightly less stubborn in the book. She insisted on her innocence quite a bit, but eventually she did admit to having lied about Naofumi trying to rape her. (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 305) Motoyasu was not chill with Myne being found guilty. He tried to interfere physically with the trial (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 303), and even after hearing the truth, getting the slave pact with Malty, and seeing that she lied to him, he still blamed Naofumi (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 307). and every few paged throughout the rest of the chapter he repeatadly claimed things like "You are being cruel to your daughter!" and "the king isn't that bad!" and he eventually claimed that he'd be bright back with proof of their innocence (Book 4, Chapter 11, Page 320). He would never have looked away like like he did in the anime if Myne where to be executed, he would, without a doubt, rush in and try to save her even if it meant fighting all the other heroes.

Yeah this is honestly one of the absolutely dumbest changes I've seen in any adapted media. I really don't get why they felt the need to sugarcoat him so much. Myne literally tried (and more or less succeeded) in ruining his life for her own gain, and she enjoyed it. Then several other times she made him miserable purely for her own entertainment, and he knows this. The fact that he actually went out of his way in the adaptation to stop her execution is borderline insanity...

The Scene in Episode 21 is also completly changed compared to the Light Novel. The Queen came into the Throne with Naofumi behind him ( The King then ordered the Soldiers to arrest Naofumi) but the Queen as highest Authority stopped them, then she froze her Husband into the Ice Prison and slapped him with her Fan into his Face. Then they made the Questions with Malty under the Slave Crest. The King shouted all the Time Bad things against Naofumi, and then he made the Worst Decisions of all: Announced that his Wife is a Imposter or she stand under the Influence of a Brainwashing Shield. Mirelia then slapped him Again and Again with her Fan until he begged her under Tears to Stop it. Then he (Naofumi) was the one at the End who wanted there Execution and the Queen talked him out of it. Sadly that the Anime cut out a lof ( or almost everything) of Naofumis Character, which is deeply influenced from Hatred most of the Time. He even wanted, as a Prove from the Queen, that she dont betray him, that she goes under a Slave Crest too, but thankfully she showed him that this isnt necessary.
