Yes the Pope would eventually survived the Blood Sacrifice, although badly wounded for sure, if he would have transformed it into a Shield, but as he was a Stubborn Fanatic and despised the Shield Hero, his Pride stood in the Way of his eventual Survival.

2021-05-21 15:04:07 +0000 UTCMore info I'm not going to source because my brain is fried: Naofumi tried, and succeeded, in using all of the other heroes' upgrade methods, that's what he was doing during the carriage ride. The queen also mentioned about the pope that: A) He could have probably survived Naofumi's blood sacrifice had he turned his replica into a shield. B) The replica was only about a quarter of the power of a real weapon.

2021-05-20 19:42:13 +0000 UTCThere weren't a lot of major changes this episode, so I'll just write the general gist of it. Before going to that meeting, all heroes (except for Motoyasu who was visitng Myne in the hospital after the queen forced her to prove the pie wasn't poisoned by having Myne eat it) introduced their parties to one another. All in all, Itsuki's party was full of insufferable jerks who thought that Itsuki was by far the best, most awsome, and supreme hero. Ren's party was somewhat apologetic towards Naofumi, explaining that they had wanted to help him initially but didn't want to earn the king's ire. I've had a lot of work to do today so I'm not going to bother sourcing this... Take it with a grain of salt I guess.

2021-05-20 19:34:54 +0000 UTCIn the Light Novels it was mentioned, that you can normaly choose, if you have the Requirments, a Path after your Class-Up ( but they didnt give exact details about this). But here, Fitoria " interfered" with the Class Up, because she stands in Contact with Filo thx to this " Cowlick", and so she gave both Raphtalia and Filo a Special Class-Up, which they couldnt Choose normaly. But the Positiv Side Effect of this was, that they had gain a much stronger Class Up then anything what they could choose. Fitoria's gift gave them around a 100% increase across the board for all stats, whereas a normal class-up only increases certain stats (only 1 or 2 Most likely) by about 50% at most. So it is a massive stat boost for Filo and Raphtalia. No other Class Up comes close to this Boost. It is in Fact something like a extrem Rare, Legendary Class-Up Boost. Also, why Bitch is allowed to travel with Motoyasu. When she made her thing at the Time when the Queen wasnt in Melromarc, she used a lot of the Money from the National Treasury for her own luxury Lifestyle. After her Punishment, the Queen decided that she musst Pay it all back, and to do this, she is now forced to Travel with Motoyasu everywhere, and she isnt allowed to complain about it. She is still under the Slave Contract with her Mother and Motoyasu, and the Queen decided that Motoyasu is the one who should watch out for her, since he never stepped in when she was doing her things, and he still believes in the " good" side of her. Even so, Bitch trys to attack Naofumi, but also Raphtalia and Filo, with every Chance she has ( as we saw trys to Poison them, she tryed to assasin them with a Small Knife and whatever else she could come up) but everytime she failed misserably since the Slave Contract would Shut her up with massiv Pain.
