MrTARDIS February 2020 Q&A! - Submissions

Woah, what a month!
Thanks so much to each and every one of you for supporting my content. January has been a great month and as 'Doctor Who' Series 12 goes into its second half, it would be great to keep this momentum going.
My next non-review video will be a vlog Q&A where you folks will be asking all the questions! Whether these are questions about 'Doctor Who', media in general, personal or political, fire away in the comments section below and I will answer them all in an upcoming video!
While I won't deter any particular questions (aside from invasive, personal ones), I would suggest against asking "Can you rank _____?" because when I do rankings off the top of my head, I tend to lose track, contradict the list and the rankings will immediately change.
Also, check to see if someone in the comments has already asked your question and if you ask me "What did you think of _____?", I will let you know if I've actually seen _____ and if I haven't, you can ask another question so you don't miss out.
Deadline for questions will be 12pm (GMT) Friday the 7th of February! All questions posted below WILL be answered.
Thanks a lot for your support and see you throughout February!
Kind regards, Will (a.k.a. MrTARDIS)

I don’t know if you’re still doing this but I thought if you are then I would re ask my question because my last one was pretty crap. You mentioned on your twitter that you had started watching life on Mars, what is your opinion so far? Also who is your favourite Doctor Who writer? I know there’s a lot to pick from but it seems most Doctor Who fans have a favourite writer.
James Fraser
2020-06-05 15:14:52 +0000 UTCWhat do you think about the idea of the next showrunner after Chibnall being a duo, since it would spread out the writing, planning and planning duties? And if you were given the opportunity to pick, who would be in that duo? (For me, one would be Paul Cornell, but I'm finding it difficult to work out who would be the other person)

2020-02-14 13:18:26 +0000 UTCSteven Universe isn't even in the top 5 of most toxic fandoms. (not denying the bad elements there, just that there are MUCH worse)

2020-02-14 13:16:38 +0000 UTCWith the arrival of captain jack, which ex-companion would you want to come back; why and how?
2020-02-07 16:29:19 +0000 UTCWhat do you think about the 2017 Wonder Woman movie and what are your thoughts about it's villains one of witch is an actual historical person that played a major roll in the German side of the war and I am pretty sure that someone has asked you about the already but I am still really curious to know if you are ever going to make the Kingsman: The Secret Service editorial that you said you were going to make if your Best Movies of 2015 video got more then 500 likes ?

2020-02-05 04:04:43 +0000 UTCFavourite Doctor Who parody, spoof, satire or reference from any movies, tv shows, comics, books, cartoons, video games that aren't directly associated with the show? (E.G. - Spin off media, like Torchwood, or Sarah Jane Adventures, Big Finish, ect...)

2020-02-03 22:20:01 +0000 UTCI've been aware of them and have followed the broad strokes in the background, but I've only watched a couple of episodes across the entire Arrowverse.

2020-02-03 22:16:43 +0000 UTCAre you familiar with the CW DC shows i.e. 'the Arrowverse'? If so, what do you think of 'Legends of Tomorrow' and the recent 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover?

2020-02-02 11:09:22 +0000 UTCAside from nostalgia what keeps you drawn to doctor who? What aspects of the show are your favorite and so they crop up in your other favorite tv shows or movies?
2020-02-02 00:57:21 +0000 UTCGoing on from this, do you think Doctor Who would benefit from being sold to a company like Netflix to be produced there as opposed to the BBC?

2020-02-01 20:09:49 +0000 UTCWith the growing use of streaming services, the way in which TV is now watched has obviously affected the way in which TV companies operate and approach programming, particularly with the BBC and how it has developed iPlayer to become more of a streaming service itself rather than just a basic catch-up tv service (in my view at least), I'm wondering if you have any thoughts over how the present format for tv shows like Doctor Who will change in the future as the dominance of streaming services intensifies? For example: can the weekly episodic format continue to survive in a world where lots of people now binge watch whole seasons as soon as they're released?
2020-02-01 19:56:43 +0000 UTCWhat is your absolute favourite part of the best episode ever, Asylum of the Daleks?

2020-02-01 12:32:45 +0000 UTCIf you had total free reign to make any Doctor Who story you wanted, it could be as long or short as you wanted, you could get anyone you wanted, etc. what story would you make?
2020-02-01 11:21:25 +0000 UTCOther than Steven Universe, what has the most toxic fandom? Also is it weird I want Jamie McCrimmon back for just one episode? And lastly what is your ranking of Star Wars trilogies? Mine is OT > PT > DT.
