Secondary Story
Added 2024-03-19 05:07:46 +0000 UTCWeb of the Weaver is getting... complex. And sometimes that requires reading and sitdowns but I dont' like just leaving the page blank. So I'm considering a secondary fanfic. Something I'll pop up to make certain people aren't paying for days of empty space. Right now I have three main thoughts:
1. Exalted in the Imperium. What happens when a Hive woprker in the depths of a hive is touched by the might of the Unconquered Sun? When a tech serf accepts a deal from a demon that proclaims that the Ruinous powers will serve, not rule... when an Imperial Guardsman gains the might of luna? When a priest of the Emperor suddenly finds himself able to outplot the Eldar...
Lots. Lots happens. For the Empire is doomed. Saving it is impossible. Reforming it... is even more impossible.
And yet, the Exalted were created to do the impossible...
2. Claire nunez in WOW. Yes, it's my favorite cartoon, struck down before it's time. She saved the trolls and woke up in a forest... with spiders. and humans. And orcs. And what is this place called Goldshire... Watch Claire as she tries to get back home, while finding that her sorcery is very unusual...
3. Taylor the Primarch. The Emperor fucked up. The Empire is, if not doomed, likely to spend thosuands of years recovering, even if his Son succeeds. A humbler, but no less powerful and knowledgeable Emperor grants Taylor the power of a Primarch, but unlike his other sons and daughters, reminds her of his great failing--he saw humanity and his sons as tools to forge his bright future, and from that, every other ill rose.
Most of these would be shorter, or have easier break points, becaus the main focus is still on Web of the Weaver, but this is jut to make certain y'all aren't looking at nothing.
