Chapter 16

"By the way Gil, what are you planning to do once you leave Hogwarts?"

As Slughorn asks that, I am immediately contemplating different options of what to say. In the end, I just answer. "I am unsure Professor Slughorn. I have quite some plans when I get outside of here, but at the same time no plans whatsoever. Maybe become a quidditch player… honestly I am still unsure, I want to be an Auror, but at the same time I want to be a Quidditch Player, Magzoologist, also a politician."


The people look at me weirdly, some snicker to themselves. I remember their faces… for petty reasons. Even Slughorn looks at me weirdly but I just smile at him and say. "It is something I hope to figure out while in Hogwarts, professor. I am still only in the first year, I have some time before I have to decide."


He smiles at that too, he thinks that I am still only eleven years old. No matter how smart I am.


"Well, you better keep your grades up. So at least then you have a lot of options available, whenever you decide to choose what you want to be."  Advises professor Slughorn. I nod at his words, with a genuine smile on my face.


"Don't worry professor, I do plan to break some records while I am here in Hogwarts." I say to him. I might sound a little arrogant now, but once I start showing results and get some achievements, people will instinctively assume that what I say is the truth. The difference between an arrogant prick and a genius is that the latter completes and shows results in what he brags/tells about.


He smiles at me. "I expect a lot from you Lockhart."


I nod back at him. "Hope I don't disappoint you professor."

He laughs out loudly when I say that. "Hahahaha, I am sure that you won't disappoint me Gil." He then mentions me towards the party. I decided to go inside and look for the only interesting non inbred person in here and went towards Lily Evan's.


Then I see her in a blue dress, talking with another girl who I assume to be her friend. She sees me and says. "I sometimes forget that you are only an eleven year old."


I smile at her teasingly. "I know right. You would never assume that a handsome guy like me would be so cool right. So much coolness compressed in such a small body." 

I swirl my eyebrows towards her as I clump my chin and smile, and use a wandless spell to make my teeth have a shine.

She narrows her eyes at that, but in the end she laughs and messes up my hair. "You should act more like a kid."

She tries to mess up my golden hair but I smile at her, because as soon as she let's go of my hair. I just shake my head once and my hair falls back in place. I see that Lily has a slightly surprised look on her face when I do that.


"Cool right? My hair has a mind of his own." I say to her, as I cast another wandless spell that makes my hair float like in a gentle wind. 


"You really need to teach me some of those charms that you are using." Says Lily with an annoyed look on her face. Because as the other inbred kids are talking as if they have a decision in their lives. Lily stealthily pulls her wand and casts silent Hexes at me as she tries to make my hair change or turn to seaweed. But she fails as she can't break through my charms, and I have a smile on my face during this whole time.


I notice that her friend chuckles when she sees our actions. 

I finally get a good look at Lily's friend and see that she is a round faced girl with short hair and a very average looking face. Her magic seems weak too, so nothing extraordinary either. But I am polite towards her and say to her with a smile. "Sorry about our unsightly actions miss…"


She chuckles when she sees me trying to act aristocratic after what I just did. "Wood, Alice Wood."


As soon as she says that, my organised mind mind with the help occulumency works through different people who match her discretion. Immediately I arrive at an unimportant person, Alice Wood, or as in the future she will be known as Alice Longbottom. 

This all happened in a split second as I dramatically start to introduce myself. "Well hello there miss Alice, my name is Gilderoy Lockhart, first year Hogwart's Student and the centuries youngest Chaser."

She smiles a little at that. "You really have a sense for the dramatic don't you mister Lockhart."

"Call me Gilderoy dear, Lockhart is my father." I say trying to sound flirtatious, but as with a childish voice it comes out as funny.

"He is really funny, as you told me Lily." Says Alice with a smile on her face.

The night ended like this, with me entertaining the young girls. Which isn't that hard really, entertaining some fifteen year old girls. And with Legilimency, I don't have to waste time learning what they know, I just pull it from their heads. Must say though, Lily really has a thing for bad boys, well poor Snape… his crush will soon get nailed by his bully.


Well whatever, it doesn't matte to me. Lily isn't anything special, I have had prettier girls on my first life. Though I am virgin in this life, and I plan to be that for quite some time. I have more important things than to get my wick wet.


Those are my last thoughts as I fall asleep on my bed, a little tired due to reading a book that I had stored in my mind.

After the last Slug Club Party, around two weeks pass and finally Halloween is just around the corner. 


I walk around the dozen or so hidden pathways, I used Legilimency on Peter Pettigrew, and learned almost all of the hidden passages and how the Merauders made their Map. It's some simple charms really, mainly it was just Peter going around in his rat animagus form and using the Humonculous charm while the rest of the group charm the the map.


Anyway, I finally arrive at Slughorn's Office in the Slytherin Dungeons and I knock on his door trice.

"Come in." Says a voice from the inside. 

I wanted rand see professor Slughorn, he seems to be grading some papers. "Is something troubling you young Gil?" Asks Slughorn.


I smile at him and answer. "No professor, I just wanted to show you something cool."


He raises his eyebrow in curiosity at this and his full concentration is on me.


I take out my wand and give it a simple wave. "Expecto Patronus."


Fwosh!


Slowly, white mist comes out of my wand and it takes the form of a frog as it jumps around. 

I look at Slughorn's face and see that he has a shocked look on his face, until a smile replaces his shock. "Hahahaha, Gil, you just learned a spell that not many wizards who graduate from Hogwarts know.  I would bet that not a lot, even those who work in the Ministery of Magic would know this charm. You accomplished something that adults can't do, but you did it at the age of eleven."


He looks at me in amazement. I keep smiling back at him and decide to push with this momentum. "Professor, I plan to write a book during Summer Break, its title is…"
