Q: Would Yami need Jax now that he gets his ability?
A: Yami never got Jax's ability. Yami cloned Jax and then devoured the clone so Yami now has access to Nen and will create his own ability. Nen is a personal expression of oneself, we will see how Yami will develop that, though they are alternate versions of themselves, Yami and Jax are very different. (Also Jax's clone had the same talent, nen amount, and physical stats as the real one. So Yami got all that except Jax's Hatsu Ability.)

Q: Why would Yami allow Jax to live, Yami has never allowed people who could be a danger to him live?
A: Jax has never been nor will he ever be a threat to Yami. The latter can just go to the past and kill Jax if he ever even came close to beating Yami. And as Jax is still existing, it means that Jax never surpassed or betrayed Yami.

Q: Will Yami ever die?
A: No, he will never be killed. If he was somehow in danger, his future self would come back on time and fix the problem, making it never exist at all, while at the same time creating an infinite loop.

Q: Why do your MC's seem kinda the same in the beginning?
A: Because they are all alternate versions of themselves.

Q; How many people will Yami reincarnate?
A: Millions, Billions, (Endless... eternity is a long time) versions of himself, but the mortality rate is high and most of them die when they are reborn, some even die in childbirth, or even by accidentally slipping while they are a baby. So yeah.... countless versions of himself that he reincarnates do die like pigs.
