Title: Time Passes By...
….
One week of vacation, I had a lot of fun. I studied for around 126 hours. Even while eating I was reading a book or something like it. There is no way to really even be entertained in this world… except magic that is, so not I am entertaining myself with it. It's like an addiction to me now, which would usually be bad, but I know that I can control my sins enough to not become a shut-in wizard who will spend his immortality studying magic.
Well, it doesn't truly matter anyway, I don't plan to build any family in this world. I will have my fun, but not build a family. It would be too troublesome.
Anyway, I learned a lot and brewed a lot of potions in secret during the week of break. I brewed some easy beautification potions, strength, healing, and many more. Now of course I could just buy them from someone else and they would probably be better than mine if it's from a good potion's shop. But that costs money and I don't exactly have a lot of that. Though in the future when I do, I will definitely do that.
….
The halls are again filled with students and I just give them a side glance. No one particularly interesting really, most of them will die in the war against Voldemort. I just see dead people really on them. People like them, they are comparable to the soldiers from the muggle world… they die so the rich kids can live their rich lives.
Voldemort is not a threat as long as he doesn't have the Noble Houses support. If he didn't have that, he would be just another bald man without a nose, and no matter how much of a strong mage he is. Fifty other good mages against him would defeat him in five seconds. The magic world and muggle world might seem different, but really… they are so much alike. Not a lot of people can fight 1v2 and win but it's still possible, and as the number of the opposing side increases, the smaller the odds of winning become.
In a battle 1v50 is impossible even to Dumbledore, he could get as many Elder Wands he needs, he will still be defeated the same, in less than ten seconds… though he might be able to escape by using his Phoenix.
It's simple math, the lone wolf dies while the pack survives. Voldemort only seems like someone unbeatable because people believe that he is, they fear him because they don't understand him and think him invincible. In the normal world, it is an illusion too, power is like a shadow, it only exists because people believe it does.
There is a reason I spend so much time socializing in Hogwarts. I understand the simple truth of magic, I could study magic and for a thousand years and on a fair battlefield, I would be defeated by 50 other wizards.
Other people who aim to get the absolute power would feel despair at this, understanding that no matter what they do, they will never be able to even defeat 50 wizards.
But I will use it as my strength. I know that I have always known that, but that has never in any way even slightly deterred me from studying magic. I will be the best at it and the most powerful. I don't need to become a public enemy and be hunted down because I am some kind of messiah-like snake face. It's simpler using mob mentality to my advantage.

January and February also pass in the blink of an eye. Except for a couple of meetings of the Slug Club, nothing interesting happened. During the meetings, I didn't waste time talking with someone like Regulus Black, or even Lily anymore… though I did talk to her every now and then.
Currently, the Quidditch season is again, and just like the previous one. I put almost no effort into it and just studied magic most of the time while writing the book I planned to publish during the summer break.
The captain didn't bother me this time though, as he didn't have to make me use a Confounds Charm on him.
….
As the Quidditch game comes around it is us against the Slytherins. Some Slytherin feels threatened by me so they come and give me their threats every now and then. But that was only dumbasses because the smart Slytherins know that they shouldn't get on my bad side. They know that I will be someone powerful in the future… a couple of memory charms might have had to do something with that. I seem to truly have talent on memory charms and can learn them quickly, so I decided to train on them extensively and with different test subjects around me, I have humans (students) and even subspecies (house elves).
Anyway, as the game started, I played aggressively. I was the ace of the team so they protected me. This game lasted only around twenty minutes before the Snitch was caught by the Slytherins. Their score was 150, while ours was 1230…. We beat them even worse than we did the Hufflepuffs.
….
After the game, here I am as the team captain has me on his shoulders as he acts very gày, explaining how we fu*ked the Slytherin Quidditch team and all that. I just look at him as he parades me around the locker room and then he takes me outside where we meet an excited group of Ravenclaw House members.
….
After that ordeal, I just go towards the library. This time I didn't need to go to the nursery because I used a healing ointment to protect my hands and body together. So my hands didn't get any gashes on my hands like last time, even though I still pulled very strange and eye-catching maneuvers this time too.
As I am walking, I take out my map and see if there is any person around me for any sneak attacks on me.
*sigh* It seems like someone I will know quite well is in the library. She is a certain Hufflepuff, her name is Amelia Bones, and in the future, she will be the Head of the Auror department in the Ministry of Magic.
The future me had a lot of contact with her so I know quite a lot about her. He also knew that she likes to wear black panties in the future… yeah I can already guess what kind of relationship we will have. I guess better start manipulating her since now and point her in the best direction… that would be most beneficial to me.
…
As I walk in the library I decided to approach her… hmm… let's make an investment her then...

AUTHOR NOTE:
The MC is stating facts here, people look at Voldemort and Dumbledore like some unbeatable figures. When in reality both of them have been defeated. The MC knows that even though it is unlikely for him to ever get that impossible power, he can get as close to that imaginary infinite power as he can.👍
