Chapter 27



Title: Back To Hogwarts...

As I look at the book I can’t help but be a little surprised when I found it…

The title of the book was definitely ambitious, but I don’t spare the book more than a split second glance, because if Borgin realizes that I want this book then he will raise the price. Despite my appearance of seemingly rich, I am not really rich and my book only won me so much money… about the monthly wage of a well-paid wizard.


Compared to the time and effort it took to write, it definitely didn’t seem worthy in the eyes of most wizards. But to Lockhart, he is building a legend that when in the future they read this book they will see how much of a ‘genius’ he was even back when only in the first year. 


“hmmm.. .” I hum while Polijuiced as an average-looking adult. In the end, after seemingly thinking a bit about it I simply say. “I will take them all for 150 Galleons.”



Burkes smiles at this and nods. “Sure I will wrap them up for you immediately.”


As soon as he says that I can easily determine that in his eyes I have been scammed. I don’t care about any of that though. I don’t know if I truly wasted too much money on this, or maybe Burkes just doesn't know the value of that one book. But to me, this doesn't matter at all. Money isn’t something that I really care about, as long as I don’t go homeless, there are more important things to concentrate on.

After that whole deal, I go and buy some more unscrupulous items and potion ingredients in Knockturn Alley. I spend many hours like this, and then I go back home. As I walk into my home I see that my older sister is solving some college-level math problems. I believe that is studying Architecture. The other younger sister is a senior in high school, she is also planning to follow in her sister’s footsteps. 



That is all unimportant in my eyes and I don’t necessarily even care about it. I have bigger fish to fry and better things to do with my time than worry about them. In the end, I just go to the basement which I have turned into my miniature lab with two cauldrons constantly boiling. The room is covered in darkness, but to me, it’s as bright as day because due to the wards and charms around here that allow only me to come here. When I larn the Fidelous Charm then I definitely plan to put it in here.


The room is very simple as it only has two shelves of potion ingredients, a shelf half-filled with books, a table, and a chair… that is it. As I sit on the chair I put my hand in my pocket and enlarge the books that I pull out of my pocket. Immediately I go to the book with the Most Evile title.

 I read the whole bool in under an hour due to using the fast reading Charm on a par of glasses that I have put on. Though the charm will disappear in another hour or so, it’s still quite an amazing spell, and I can’t help but wonder why it hasn’t been developed some more.

Still, though it seems like this book only has a mention about the Horcruxes… at the same time, it has sh*t like the liver melting curse, intestine strangeling curse, and many more spells that pretty much kill the enemy in gruesome ways.


Not really useful to me since it’s more efficient to use the Severing Charm on someone’s throat than have them strangled by their own intestines. I mean, I can do way worse if it’s beneficial to me. But I am not some bloodthirsty idiot. Though I guess that it can be used as an intimidation factor to put fear in enemies. So I will be learning all of the curses and strange rituals in this book. 


Overall, even if it had some useless stuff, it had a lot more useful items. I even got some hints on how to make a Horcrux. I definitely want to learn how to make one, even though I will never really make one. I wanna be myself at most, so changing that would be pretty much a disaster to me. I would rather just slit my throat right now. 


Still, knowledge on the subject is definitely better than knowing nothing about it. Some people say that ignorance is a bliss… but ignorance is also stupid.



The companies that I plan to invest in haven’t gone public yet, so I can’t buy shares on them… plus the whole underage thing will be quite annoying to be able to invest. I could go and interfere with Steve Jobs in America and such… he did just create Apple, but it doesn't matter anymore. I don’t wanna change too much from the muggle world, I don’t want to cause some World War 3 or something like that. Still, I do plan to make myself one of the richest men in the world before the year 2000.


I have all of this knowledge and I can even exchange that muggle money into wizarding Money and in no way can an inbred wizarding house compare to the wealth a normal person can make in the world when they know the future. My purchasing power will become monstrous by then. I could buy the whole English wizarding world and still have leftover change.

The 1st of September comes quite fast for me, as I spend the rest of my summer buying and reading Dark Magic Books. This is something that I am not allowed to read in Hogwarts so this is the only time when I can read as much about the dark arts as much as my money can buy me. I even experimented a little.



Still, I just wave at my family as I enter the Hogwarts Express. In the end, as the train goes on, I lean back and relax at the empty compartment that I have just for myself. I have already planned everything that I will do for the 2nd Year of Hogwarts. Since I am not from Harry’s Generation, except the new D.A.D.A Teacher there will not be anything that could be dangerous like a Basilisk. Going by the notes from my future self, then this year’s new teacher should be a good guy. Though there was no specification what that even means… at least now I know that at least he won’t be some type of child predator… hopefully. I don’t exactly trust my future self to not pull something like giving me some type of misinformation that would in a long way teach me to not trust someone. Even I am not sure if I wouldn’t do it… so there is a chance that he did something like that.

I just wait for the children to arrive in the dining hall. They should be half-way through the journey by train. I wonder what new seeds there will be this time. Will there be any new Lockhart? 


Young Gilderoy broke every record that I and Tom set up. He even broke a dozen flying records, and he is still in only his first year. I wonder what he will do next… but I am sure of one thing. He won’t turn to darkness, the kid is simply confused at what he should do in the future and what he should become. Well… it is my duty as the Headmaster and a teacher in this school to show him the way, I will even help him accomplish his dream of being a ‘Hero’... and there is a Dark Lord around too. Maybe it is his time to shine now, and he will be the next leader of light.

The MC's life is not that exciting yet as he isn't going around looking for danger and such. But later on he will as he starts exploring the Magic World.😁👍
