Chapter 32

Seeing that the situation is going to develop out of control. He does what anyone smart would do… and slither his way out of there.


He signals Rias to follow him, maybe he and she could go and 'teach' each other some things. Though he will have to be careful, he doesn't want to give Serafall another surprise as he did years ago. Still, this chance of risk only brings him more excited.

But Akeno also followed Rias too, so he didn't get the chance to try anything. So in the end, all three of them walked through the corridors. 

"Sooo… Akeno… you don't have anything else to do? Like I don't know… look after the other Club Members?" Asks Haruto, he is feeling a little put down by Akeno's blue balling him.


"No, I am just looking after Rias." Says Akeno with a smile on her face.


"Wanna join me and Rias then?" Asks Haruto boldly, as his gaze wanders on Akeno's body.


"No thank you." Answers Akeno, once again with a polite smile on her face. "You are not my type." Haruto cringes at that slightly as Akeno continues explaining. "You are too dominant, and I am a complete sadist."



"Hmmm…." Haruto is thoughtful once he hears that. Contemplating that Akeno was a sadist and masochistic in the anime. He wonders if he might be remembering it right, but he has confidence in his memory. So in the end, he smirks, understanding the game that she is playing. 


He looks at Akeno and the young woman still has that polite smile on her face. Haruto is about to make his move.

But that is when he hears a couple of students talking to each other.

"Hey, didn't you hear that a cute girl is cosplaying in the gymnasium?"


"Really?"


"Yeah, I am going there right now."




Immediately Haruto knows that it's Serafall, no questions about it. He sighs at this, looks at Rias, and sees the same look on her face. 


"It's Serafall." Concludes Haruto, saying it like a fact. They walk through the hallways and go towards the gymnasium.


Rias glances at Haruto, her eyes having a slight nervousness in them, but he just smiles at her reassuringly. She knows that Serafall and Haruto used to be in a relationship… she also knows just how…. susceptible Serafall can be. 

Haruto can already guess what Rias is thinking. She is not exactly experienced in hiding her expressions.


"Are you sure it's okay?" Asks Rias, Haruto only smiles while Akeno is confused by this until a look of realization dawns on her eyes.


Immediately Akeno understood just how bad this could turn out. Even though she isn't as knowledgeable as Rias on the situation. She knows that Haruto and Serafall had a falling out in the past.

After a while, they arrive at the gymnasium, they see a crowd of students surrounding a podium, Haruto narrows his eyes, and inside his pupils, two red magic circles appear.

He easily sees through the students and can see Serafall twirling her wand and taking poses. He smiles at that, Serafall never changed ever since he was younger. She truly enjoys cosplaying, it's not anything like a coping mechanism from the Great War or the Devil Civil War, she couldn't care less about the angels, fallen, and devils that she has killed.


She is very self-centered, and she acts cosplaying. That is truly all that there is to it. Haruto understands that, and he smiles as he uses X-Ray vision to look at Serafall's naked body. True, it is a body that he has seen hundreds of times, but he would like to see if anything has changed… for research purposes.


"Haru -tan?!!" Exclaims Serafall in surprise, she can see Haruto from so far away and through the crowd. Rias and Akeno are nervous, especially as Serafall jumps past the crowd and charges at Haruto. The latter just takes his hands out of his pockets and spreads them.


"Yo, Serafall." Greets Haruto with a casual smile.


"Haru -tan." She jumps in his arms and hugs him with a smile on her face. Haruto does the same also.


"Huh?!!" Rias and Akeno are shocked by this. From what they know Serafall and Haruto were supposed to be at each other's throats. As if reading their thoughts Haruto nudges his head at Serafall's neck.

In the end, after that episode comes about. Haruto and Serafall sense Sona coming close so they separate and she waves at him as she walks towards her younger sister.



Rias just cooks at Haruto with a confused look. She doesn't know what to do next. He just looks at her and smiles sweetly, a slight blush appears on Rias' face. Once again confusing Haruto why she is like this, they have already gone way past a simple crush. He doesn't understand why she blushes at such silly stuff, but Rias has always been a little strange.


In the end, though, he only shrugs, looks at Akeno, and smiles as he touches her shoulder gently as if he is nudging her. But at that moment, she can feel a painful current of electricity pass through her body. Akeno breathes heavily and blushes… looking at Haruto.


Tias narrows her eyes at that. "Oy, Akeno, find your own guy. You told me that you aren't into Haruto."


Akeno laughs nervously, and Haruto has let go of her. But immediately she can feel the electricity ravishing her body as she is about to explain to Rias. She can't help it as the excitement she feels, especially with some of the other students and her best friend looking at her weirdly. 

She glances at Haruto and sees him with a gentle 'confused' smile on his face. He tilts his head in confusion when she looks at him, playing up his act even more.

Haruto continues playing with Akeno like this for a little while, while Rias is confused. They all go to his home when they arrive there. 


"Bahahaha… look at Haruto. He is looking at Rias!" Haruto's father's voice booms through the house. 


"Yeah, look at Rias answering the teacher's question. She is so cute." Says Lord Gremory. 


Haruto winces at this slightly, he can already feel the noise that he will walk into. Akeno seems strangely happy while looking at Haruto's face. Rias on the other hand is embarrassed.

"I -I think we should just go to your room directly." Suggests Rias, not wanting to face the embarrassment. Haruto nods at this and a Dark Teleportation Circle appears below their feet and they are all teleported into an otaku's (Haruto's) room. The heavy anime content around the room makes Akeno think that Rias and Haruto are made for each other.



In the end, Akeno just looks at him and says. "I never thought that Haruto -san would have such…" 


Haruto shrugs as he puts his hand around Rias' weist. "Well, it doesn't matter. Rias likes it, what other people say doesn't matter."


He says to earn some points with Rias, and Akeno too as he expresses himself as 'open-minded'. 


A light shines in Haruto's eyes. To him Akeno is now his new target… and she will be harder to get than Rias who was easy mode to get. Akeno on the other hand is low-medium. Still easy for him due to his future knowledge, but even then he will have to be careful.
