Chapter 36



….
After Haruto finally got his power and did it with Athena as an old man… she is left snickering till tomorrow.

He then used his Philosopher's Stone to restore his youth by creating a potion of youth.

As she was preparing breakfast she snickers. Confusing Haruto's parents, even Rias who was helping her make breakfast.

Haruto has an annoyed look on his face. Rias notices this and asks. "What is wrong?"


*snicker* "Nothing…" Says Athena, but she couldn't stop herself from snickering. Haruto now understands why people hate getting old… stamina is one thing… and he wasn't… as vigorous as he usually is. That is the reason Athena has been snickering ever since yesterday. 


'Damn it! Why did I have to go and suggest something like that yesterday.' Complains Haruto internally. His performance yesterday was… subpar… and that is being polite.

Later on, in school Rias releases Gasper and Issei starts questioning himself quite a lot. Of course, Haruto was there too and just looked at Gasper.


When the kid stopped time, Haruto wasn't affected by it but his eyes narrowed. 'As expected, Forbidden Balor View wasn't just because of Gasper. But most likely while they were young Valerie might have unconsciously used the Grail's power and sealed a part of an Evil Irish God inside of the Gear.' Contemplates Haruto, his mind working at unbelievable speed to figure out the exact thing that is going on with the Sacred Gear. 



'Valerie's power is truly amazing, as expected of my girl. Though she has become a bit of a hikikomori nowadays, so she stays inside 99.99% of the time… and I guess she goes outside if opening the windows count' Concludes Haruto, planning to go and visit Valerie some more now… even if her mental state still isn't up to par yet.



"Haruto, can you help with the training? I am gonna be busy making preparations for the three factions meeting." Requests Rias.


But Haruto shakes his head. "No… sorry, but something has come. Though I will show them the right way to train Gasper." Says Haruto while pointing at Issei, Saji, and Koneko.


Xenovia looks at him curiously why he didn't say anything about her. 

"Also I am gonna need Xenovia." Says Haruto, to which Rias nods. Many things need to be taken care of. So she concludes that Haruto must have things that he must prepare too.

After Rias walks away, Haruto looks at Xenovia with a smile on his face and says. "Can you go and find Athena for me?"


"Sure…" Agres Xenovia, she can see that Haruto has a frown on his face. Which most likely means that something that she can't see is going. She is a trained Exorcist, she can see things like this, and when she isn't needed here.

After she walks away Haruto's body fades away and he appears on the roof. Out of thin air next to him… Azazel appears.


"I even made special equipment to not be noticed by you… yet you still did." Says Azazel, a smirk on his face. He is not worried about this.



"Yeah… your items kind of suck and always work ineffectively." Demises Haruto, a small almost unnoticeable smirk on his face. "Heard you have been using Fafnir as the new base for your sacred gear."



Azazel's smile immediately morphs into a grimace. "I thought Kokabiel might have been your informant?... so... who is it?"


Haruto just smirks and doesn't say anything. He has no high-level informant in the Grigori, but he just used his future knowledge to make it seem so. It's his way of keeping someone like Azazel in line and stopping the man from trying to incite his people over to Grigori… that and Athena. That woman can kill someone like Azazel easily, even if the man is old and can build a lot of fancy equipment.


Gods and Dragons are the top powers in the world. Of course, irregularities like Sirzechs and Ajuka happen sometimes too. They alone are the Devils who can take on Gods… and kill most of them too in a 1v1 fight.


"Sheesh, if you didn't have Athena backing you up I would have tried something." Says Azazel, not keeping his greed hidden at all.


"Hahahahaha." Haruto just laughs at that. Drawing the attention of Issei, Gasper, and Saji who are training the Sacred Balor View. "I don't think you can beat me any longer Azazel."


Azazel doesn't say anything and just looks at the kid in front of him. Because that is what Haruto is to him… a kid. Only at eighteen years old and he had achieved something thought to be impossible at such age. He had outperformed anyone his age and had an organization that was connected with every other faction and different pantheons through the world. 


"I see…" Is all Azazel says as he just gets up and walks away.


Haruto smirks at that, he needs to start showing his power now. After all, he has already grown enough to challenge gods… he did all that as a human. He has no weaknesses now truly. So his gamble of staying as a human paid off, he doesn't know if he would have been able to grow so strong as any race, especially since humans are unnoticeable and can move below the radar.


He decides to just disappear for a bit and take care of some things.

While that was all happening, Akeno is on the opposite side of the school ground looking at Haruto. Her eyes narrow slightly, that guy is one of the most complicated people that he has met.



"What is wrong?" Rias comes next to her and asks. She looks at where Akeno is looking, and she sees Haruto just laying down on the roof, chilling.


Rias doesn't say anything at this and walks away.

Later on, Haruto is walking back home. He usually teleports, but today is a special day in a bright light in front of him, and a blond-haired woman, wearing a white robe appears. She has blonde hair and a gentle smile on her face. 


She is one of the four great Seraphims created by the God of the Bible… Gabriel. She innocently looks at Haruto who looks to the side awkwardly and turns back, walking the other way.





"Haru -chan, hello~" Calls out Gabriel, to which Haruto doesn't respond at all and instead just walks off.


But Gabriel chases after him and innocently asks. "Excuse me? Can we talk?"


Haruto doesn't say anything to her. This is the most troublesome situation he could be in, Gabriel is a total innocent girl. He hates her type because they don't know anything and act super nice. He could insult her and she will just say something like 'Oh no, it's not good to insult people' in a joking manner. Simply put, Gabriel is too pure, she is dense also so she doesn't know anything about social interactions.


Also using his charm and trying to manipulate her is useless. If someone is innocent, they would usually be easier to manipulate. But Gabriel is too innocent, so Haruto decides to not even talk to her as she continues to pester him about something.


"Haru -kun~" Pouts Gabriel, which Haruto just continues walking.

But as they say, patience is a virtue, and Gabriel has plenty of that and now she is at his house, three hours later, and talking about Haruto who is in a depressed mood. 


"So yes, the first time I met Haruto was when he was studying at school and then he… he…" Gabriel smiles in happiness and touches her stomach. "Filled me up…"


"WHAT?!!" Exclaims his mother. Haruto sighs at this and facepalms.


"Can't believe such a cliche situation is happening to me." Complains Haruto, Athena sees this and just smiles slightly. She isn't jealous of someone like Gabriel, she knows that the angel would never do anything with Haruto.

Later on, after listening to his parents complain and whine about what did they go wrong with him, Haruto just decides to go to bed. Athena comes a little later and takes off her clothes, exposing her naked body to Haruto without shame.


He did glance at her toned stomach and could feel himself get hard. Something about Athena's perfect body always made him lustful. Supernatural creatures mostly have a perfect body frame, no blemishes or anything like that either.



"Winning…" Suddenly says Haruto, confusing Athena.


"Winning?" Asks Athena curious what Haruto means.


He smirks. "Winning doesn't mean anything unless someone else loses."


Suddenly a chill runs down Athena's spine as she can sense a dangerous feeling coming from Haruto.


"Everything in this world is quite magical… except to the magician." Continues Haruto once more, as if he isn't speaking to Athena but thinking to himself. "Athena, if you decide to any day go for the truth. Go for the whole thing. It's like good fu*k. Half is worse than none at all."


Athena wondered for a split second what Haruto was talking about. But she figured it out almost immediately, she has spent so many years with the man in front of her… and what is doing right now is… manipulating her.

Normally any other person would be enraged by this. Though Athena isn't like that at all, she just nods at Haruto. She now knows what he told her to do…
