Chapter 40




….


"You can come out now." Says Athena casually as she looks at the space in front of her.


"Ara~ you found me." Says a feminine voice playfully as the space in front of Athena rips away like cloth. Out of it comes a woman with silver hair and blue eyes, she is wearing purple bras, and a cloth in her lower body that seemed very risque. She is also wearing reading glasses.







"Aphrodite… why are you here?" Asks Athena, not trusting the Goddess of Love and Beauty, at all.


"Wow, you have gotten so cold Athena~" Playfully says, Aphrodite. "And we used to be close too."


"I will ask once more. What do the Olympian Gods want with Haruto?" Asks Athena her eyes cold as her Divine Power explodes out of her body. "If I don't like your answer… I will kill you."


Aphrodite still has a smile on her face. "Well~ how should I say this… Zeus wants Haruto dead no matter what."


Fwish!


Immediately Athena attacks by throwing her spear at Aphrodite's head. The latter is stabbed in the head with the spear and her eyes widen in fear… but her figure dissipates.


'Tch, an illusion.' Composes Athena, she summons her spear back to her hand. 


"I was just joking~" Aphrodite then comes from the space behind Athena, and a spear is pointed at her throat. "Sheesh, can't you take a joke?"


"One other lie and I will kill you." Says Athena seriously. Not willing to play to Aphrodite's whims. 


Aphrodite shrugs at that. "Well, I just wanted to fu*k Haruto."


Fwish!!


Again, her body starts turning to stone, but the smile on her face doesn't change at all. 

"Tch, another illusion." Says Athena as she turns around, but the figure of Aphrodite behind her stops being turned to stone and Aphrodite then jumps forward and hugs Athena from behind groping her breasts as she does so.


"Nope~ this is the real me." Says Aphrodite amusingly once more.


"I know." Says Athena suddenly with a smirk on her face.


*Shick*

Aphrodite's eyes widen as she feels herself get stabbed from behind.



Athena opened a portal in front of her spear and teleported it behind Aphrodite's back, stabbing her easily.


"I can now tell with 100% certainty that this is your real body. I will ask once more… what are you here for?" Asks Athena, this time twisting her spear, bringing it close to Aphrodite's divine core, nicking it a little, causing the Goddess of Beauty and Love to have a fearful look on her face.


"O -Okay… it's Hephaestus. He is extremely jealous that Haruto has you and wants you to be his." Answers Aphrodite truthfully. "So I came here to convince you to kill him. I don't like him either."


"Hmmm…" Athena doesn't say anything and just twists her spear around the divine core. Aphrodite is beyond nervous at this, she feels weakened and she is so close to death… literally a hair's length away.


Fwish!


"I believe you." Athena pulls out her spear and dismisses her weapons. Not needing them anymore, she is not letting her guard down… but someone stronger than her has appeared here now.


"I do too." Says Haruto, just levitating in the air. His face is empty, showing nothing to The Goddess of Love and Beauty.


"Haruto~" Calls out Aphrodite as she goes to hug him.


Boom!


But as she approaches him, a magic circle explodes in front of her face.


"Don't need to come closer." Says Haruto calmly.


"W -What?! C'mon now, don't be so cold~" Pouts Aphrodite cutely.


But Haruto doesn't respond and instead, a magic circle appears in front of him, aiming at Aphrodite with vile energy.


"O -Okay, got it." Says Aphrodite nervously. She doesn't want to get hit by the God Slaying properties of the spell. "I question your sexuality if you don't accept even the most beautiful woman in existence."



"Hm? You? Beautiful?" Haruto seems genuinely confused by that. "You are the ugliest person I have met."


"W -W -Wha?!!" Exclaims Aphrodite in shock, never before having someone say that to her face.


"Aren't you just a wh*re who fu*ks anyone that catches her eye?" Questions Haruto curiously. Hitting Aphrodite at all her weak spots. "To me, you are just another slut. Also, I don't want any major god-level STDs."


"Gods don't have STD!!" Yells out Aphrodite, pouting at Haruto. Even when angry she is beyond beautiful. But that doesn't bother Haruto at all who looks at her as if he is looking at a piece of sh*t.


"Okay… The Goddess of Overused Holes." Answers Haruto, with a smirk on his face. True, Aphrodite is probably the most beautiful woman in the world. But he doesn't care about that.


"Athena!! Do something!!" Pouts Aphrodite. "Your lover is insulting me, the Goddess of Love and Beauty!!"


Athena just shrugs at that and looks at Haruto, who shrugs back.


"Haruto, don't do that~" Says Athena in a monotone voice with no enthusiasm at all. 


"Okay, I won't call her The Goddess of Overused Holes. That is too long too." Says Haruto while looking at Aphrodite. "I will now call you Ona-Hole Goddess."


"Noooo!!!" Shrieks Aphrodite. "That is even worse!! You can't treat me like this! I am your ally!" 


Haruto shrugs at that. "Well, there aren't a lot of choices about what I should call you. If you don't wanna be called Ona-Hole Goddess, then how about  Slut Goddess… or Wh*re Goddess. The latter sounds more like you so I would suggest that one."


"Fu*k off, you b*stard!!" Yells Aphrodite. She then sighs and says. "You can call me by my name."


Haruto looks at her weirdly. "Bitch Goddess?" 


"That is not my name!!" Screeches Aphrodite once again. "My name is Aphrodite!"


"Cum-Dump Goddess?" 



"What?!! What the hell!! The names are getting worse!!" Complains Aphrodite.


"Sheesh, should have accepted the Overused Hole Goddess then." Shrugs Haruto.


"No!"

Athena chuckles as she sees the amusing situation that is happening in front of her. 


"Don't laugh Athena!! There is nothing funny about this!!" Complains Aphrodite.

It takes half an hour for Haruto to stop insulting Aphrodite. Mostly because he ran out of new and creative nicknames for Aphrodite. 


In the end, though, they all meet in Haruto's home. They have a meeting at the dinner table and Haruto looks at Aphrodite disgustingly. "Uhhh… I don't wanna be rude. But Aphrodite can you not sit on the chair and make your own. I am not saying that you are dirty… but you know…"


Aphrodite just looks at Haruto with a surprised look on her face. "You are the rudest person I have met."


Haruto only shrugs at that. But Aphrodite does create her chair… and she is a little hurt at how he is treating her like some filthy animal. But Haruto doesn't care what Aphrodite thinks of him so it doesn't matter.



"Well, what Hephaestus is mostly dangerous is because of his creations." Says Haruto. "He is the God of The Forge after all."


"Yes." Agrees Aphrodite. "Also, he has apparently joined the Khaos Brigade and is working with Hades."



Haruto leans back in his seat and thinks about this. A situation created mostly from his interference and when he got Athena. 


"Well, the answer is simple." Concludes Haruto. Aphrodite looks at him curiously, whole Athena takes a sip of a glass of tea that she summoned. Haruto then smiles maliciously. "We just kill Hephaestus."


"That will bring the Olympian's down on you. After all, they can't let you get away with killing one of their own." Reasons Aphrodite.


This causes Haruto to chuckle at that too. "So what? I will kill them too. Athena would do good as the new ruler of Olympus anyway."


"Are you crazy!" Yells Aphrodite getting up and slamming her hands on the table. "Not only will you have to kill the twelve Olympian Gods but also some lower Gods amongst their ranks."


"Who cares." Says Haruto nonchalantly. "I will kill them too, I will soak Olympus in blood if I have to… also please don't touch the table."


Aphrodite huffs and sits down. "You are crazy."


Haruto shrugs once more. "Don't care what you think. But even the most logical action will seem crazy to some others."


Athena smiles at this, she hasn't said anything. Well, Aphrodite is here, and neither of them trusts her. They know that she was most likely sent by Hephaestus to seduce Haruto, but she backstabbed him. Anyone would be a fool to trust her after that. Also, Athena and Haruto will be having their meeting after this meeting with Aphrodite.

After Aphrodite leaves, Haruto and Athena don't walk her out. 


"What are your real thoughts on this?" Asks Athena. 


"I have someone on the Khaos Brigade. They can kill Hephaestus for me. I don't plan to fight the Olympian Gods in a war. It would be too troublesome even if I win." Says Haruto, he then looks at Athena, gets up, and kisses her on the lips. He uses this intimate kiss to use a spell that transfers information. After that, they separate and Haruto says. "These are all my ideas and plan on how to deal with the situation. Use your Divine Wisdom sense to figure out the best plan, I need this to be quiet."


Athena nods at that and closes her eyes as her body shines in divine light.


Haruto smiles at her. 'She is a special woman. Still, though, I expected a situation like this to eventually develop along the way. Things have changed, especially before I returned to Kuoh.'


Though he thinks critically and always assumes the worst while hoping for the best. Haruto is still confident in dealing with Hephaestus.

A/N: Situations like this were bound to develop eventually. The MC plans to take care of this quietly, so it doesn't make an unpredictable situation with catastrophic precautions, like Trihexa being released too early or something like that. Though he seems casual, he plans to fully exterminate Hephaestus.
