Chapter 52

BOOOM!!!


Uvogin punches forward, but he frowns, and as the dust clears out there is only a cut off arm in his hand. More specifically, that is Sub's arm.


The owner is just to the side. Having dodged the attack, Sub had already seen what Uvogin wanted to do, so he cut off his arm to dodge the attack. 


'Damn, that caveman is troublesome.' Contemplates Sub, he doesn't like cutting off his limbs and it is more of a last resort. Still, he perfectly recreated his limb using his earth-like Nen and also stopped his bleeding. 'I can get that arm reattached, later on, now I must just win this fight. I can feel it, as the fight goes on, my Nen is getting stronger, my "Armour" is also getting stronger and repaired faster.'


"You have balls kid, I will give you that." Uvogin smiles as he sees that and throws Sub's arm towards Machi. "Put in an icebox or something, he can attach it later."



Sub smiles back. "I guess I should stop insulting you now and continue fighting without it."


"That would be better." Says Uvogin, he now kind of respects the kid in front of him. Not anyone can just rip off his arm just to dodge an attack. 


Around Sub's feet, his Nen morphs into transparent steel-like claws. This way he can grip the earth tightly.


Fwish!


In a split second, he appears in front of Uvogin and punches forward. But the giant of a man blocked it, concentrating 100% of his aura at the spit Sub would attack. That stopped any injury from happening and it surprised Sub, previously Uvogin wouldn't do something like this. He would get injured even when he had Nen around his body, if Sub landed a hit in another part of the body where Uvogin wasn't using all of his Nen to defend, then that is it for the gorilla-looking man.


"Heh, you showed me your guts kid. Now let me show you mine." Says Uvogin, not wanting to be outdone by a kid.

On the sidelines, Nobunaga has a smile on his face. "Heh, Uvo finally found a rival. Though he is a kid, can't wait to tell the others this."


Machi on the other hand still has a cold look on her face. She looks at the arm in her grasp and sighs, this was Sub's arm. It was muscular, just his young age stops him from buffing the muscles more.


"Uvogin is being reckless." Machi says finally. She is no longer worried about Sub, after all, his biggest injury in the fight has been self-inflicted. 


Uvogin and Sub are still fighting against each other and the land around them had collapsed into a giant crater. They were both top tier Nen users, and both had pretty straight forward abilities. 


Though Sub had others, he didn't want to reveal them.

"Don't worry about Uvogin." Says Nobunaga. "Just look at his face."


Machi does so and she can see the giant grin that adorns his face.


"He is having the time of his life." Reaffirms Nobunaga, he has already seen how much damage Sub can do. He won't be able to kill Uvo unless he intentionally goes for the kill hit after the KO. 'But the kid doesn't seem dumb enough to do something like that.'

Four hours later, and Sub is breathing heavily, with various slight injuries around his body. But he had a smile on his face… as Uvogin was on the ground, bleeding out.


Machi then appears next to Uvogin and starts sealing shut his injuries. Karla comes by and just takes Sub's arm, she can reattach it herself.


Nobunaga while rubbing his chin while contemplating looks at Sub. "Hmmm… good fight kid."


Sub huffs in annoyance. "What the hell, that guy was a monster."


"Heh." Nobunaga chuckled at that.

A couple of minutes later, Sub's arm is healed as he and Karla are in an airship back to civilization. 

Karla has a pout on her face as she sees Sub not caring at all about his recent fight, he is already back to training.


'Tch, such a training maniac. Can't he pay some attention to me!!' Whines Karla internally, she doesn't want to show things like that externally, because she knows that it will most likely end up being embarrassed by Sub. He has done this countless times already, he just knows how to get under people's sins.



He then takes off his shirt and Karla blushes at that, then she takes out her phone and acts like she is playing around with it. But she lines up the shot and is about to take a pic of Sub's sweaty muscular body while he trains.


*katcha* The picture taking sound rings through and the flashlight also shows that she is taking a picture.

"Ah… I forgot to turn off the sound." Says Karla suddenly feeling very embarrassed like she wanted to die.


"Hm?" Sub on the other hand just looks at her curiously. "Yo, Karla… was that a picture sound that I just heard?"


She blushes up a storm, and a smile makes itself apparent on Sub's face as he sees this.


"N -No, NOT AT ALL BAKA!!!" Yells out Karla as she runs away embarrassed.


"Tsundere!" Yells out Sub as she runs away. 


This makes her come back and tell him. "I am not a tsundere!"


"Sure~" Says Sub sarcastically.


This makes Karla even more embarrassed, causing her to run away. When she was young she didn't mind these things, but as she grew older, strange feelings started appearing inside her heart and… strange dreams too.



Sub only smiles at this, he knows that no matter how mature, Karla is a teen. A real one, unlike him who is a grown-up. Even then he still feels his hormones acting up and finding pretty ladies irresistible. But he can easily control those urges, he is an adult, he can't be going around sniveling at every woman around.


'Right, I am still a virgin in this world.' Contemplates Sub, but in the end, he just shrugs and goes back to training. 'Welp, nothing better than some training to get your mind off useless stuff.'

Back at Uvogin's and Sub's fighting place, Machi, Nobunaga and Uvo were still there as the latter was healing, while still sleeping.


"He is strong." Says Nobunaga suddenly. Machi can also feel that he is not talking about Uvogin.


"Yes, he is." Is all she says.


"Do you like him?" Asks Nobunaga with a mischievous smirk on his face.

Machi narrows her eyes at that and looks at him pointedly. "What a useless question."


*sigh* He sighs. But suddenly he stops and his hand lands on the handle of his sword as he looks at Machi. "If there was a choice between the Troupe and Sub, who would you choose?"



She looks at these actions with a calm look in her eyes. "Another useless question."


"No… I don't think it is that useless." Says Nobunaga. "I do wonder sometimes… if Sub told you to spy on us… would you do it?"


Machi doesn't say anything as she looks at Nobunaga pointedly, suddenly her eyes widen and a murderous aura explodes out of her body, the birds around them fly off as that happens.


"Heh, I knew it." Says Nobunaga as he starts pulling out his sword.
