Chapter 47



Title: Confrontation...

Bikou has a panicked look on his face as he tries to outrun the bright light beam chasing him. It was shot by Haruto and now it acts like a homing missile.


"Fu*k that guy, doesn't he know when to let go!!" Complains Bikou, as even in the Dimensional Gap, in which normal logic doesn't apply. The light is somehow following them and catching up to them.

Kusoka is lying down on his cloud unconscious so she can't do anything to help.


'I can't outrun it, I gotta take it head-on.' Decides Bikou, turning around, he knows that Vali still hasn't healed from Haruto's attacks and is in critical condition. He doesn't want to find out what will happen if this energy catches him off guard.



So he takes his golden staff, which is like Sengoku's. He tries to hit the energy head-on.

But his eyes widen as the bright energy maneuvers out of the swing of his staff. But his heart almost stops once he sees that the energy goes past him and hits Kuroka.

"Sh*t!!" He swears out loud in panic, but strangely, the energy only enters Kuroka's body and her injuries start healing. She then opens her eyes, she still is exhausted.


"Heh," Bikou laughs as he understands what is going on. "What an asśhole, he could have given some sign that he was gonna help her."


Relief washes over his body, the spell that Haruto had shot before the crack in space was a Healing one to help Kuroka. This is his way of saying that he cares about her.

On the other hand, in the Young Devil's Gathering place, Odin appears with Baraqiel and Rossweisse.


Issei, Koneko, and Rias also appear next to Sirzechs. Odin has an annoyed look on his as he sees a Norse magic circle appear in the middle of the room. "Loki…"


A man that has the appearance of a handsome man with eyes like a delinquent. He has light blue hair that floats behind him with two small bangs. He also has a blue jewel on his forehead and yellow earrings. That is Loki, he has a smirk on his face as he appears in front of the Young Devil's Gathering and looks Odin straight in the face.


"Fenrir, go wild," is all he says as he summons his son. Fenrir, the giant wolf who immediately goes wild. Loki looks at Odin. "Father, you have lowered the Gods of the Norse so low. You allied with bats as if we need something like that."




But Loki doesn't speak for long as Ajuka appears and traps both Loki and Fenrir in a green reverse pyramid platform.


[Sealed Banishment]


Fwosh!


Both Fenrir and Loki disappear, the latter has a hateful look at this.

Odin sighs. "I will take full responsibility for Loki…"


Sirzechs nods at this. "Don't worry about it, we are here to have peace talks. There are some from both sides bound to do something like this."


"Thanks for your understanding Lucifer." Odin is honest at this. Because by saying that, Sirzechs just implied that he won't kill Loki. "I give you my word that the Norse Gods will create peace with the three factions and fully support them."


"Hahaha, no need to be so uptight old man," Azazel says casually. "So, have you been to any good strip club lately?"


Odin smile perversely at that. "Hehehe… there is this one-"


"Odin -sama!" Yells out Rossweisse. "Please conduct yourself befitting of your stature!"


The King of the Norse Gods looks at her with an annoyed look on his face. "This is why you will never have a boyfriend Rossweisse."


Immediately that crushes the woman's feelings.

But immediately, they all stop this fun of theirs as heavy divine energy descends upon the Underworld. Sirzechs looks at Ajuka, the latter doesn't need to be told anything as he teleports everyone of the young devils away, except Rias, Sona, and their Peerages.


"Those crazy bastards." Swears Odin, looking in the direction where Haruto is.


"Haruto…" Rias has a worried look on her face, as she too can sense several Gods descend where Haruto is.


Issei in his Boosted Gear armor doesn't say anything either. Mostly because Ddraig is being strangely quiet.

Inside the Boosted Gear, something unknown to the outside was happening.


Ddraig is surrounded by flames, he looks at the human figure in front of him. It is Haruto and he has his hands in his pockets.



"Brat… I would advise that you don't come here…" says Ddraig, a dangerous look in his eyes. He doesn't like people invading his personal space. "I am quite angry by what you just did, so don't test me you brat."




"Wow~ you are so strong. I feel chills down my spine just by looking at your sealed form." Confesses Haruto, but with his usual behavior, no one knows if this is the truth or just another fake claim of his.



"DON'T FU*K WITH ME!!" Yells Ddraig, as the flames surround Haruto's figure. "I know what you just tried to do!!"


As Haruto's figure is burning to ashes, he has a smirk on his face. "Oh? And what might that be?"


Ddraig becomes even more enraged at this, shooting an enraged fire breath at Haruto


BOOOM!!!


This obliterates Haruto's figure, but this wasn't his body and just a projection of his Mana, a kind of illusion, but instead of tricking the physical senses, it appeared straight into Issei's soul.

On the outside, Rias explains the situation to Sirzechs, revealing their encounter with the Khaos Brigade and how they might be helping Loki behind the scenes. 

"Hmm… I see…" mumbles Sirzechs. "Well, we will need to get Michael here too. That way we can all discuss what to do, together."



"Wait!!" Calls out Rias. "What about that Devine Energy, that is where Haruto is!! We need to help him!!"



Sirzechs looks at Rias awkwardly, not knowing how to tell her this. "Sorry, Rias… but we can't help him."


"What?" Rias is shocked at this, her eyes turn dull as tears come out of them.


Akeno also looks at Baraqiel with a look full of hate in her eyes.


"Little girl." Says Odin, a serious look on his face. "The Existence Eater isn't part of the three factions, they only have a give and take relationship. Also, this isn't something any of us can interfere in, or it would spell our destruction."


"I have sealed everything around Haruto and the Gods who have descended in there, this territory is also in their range so we should teleport away. Since they don't want to war with us too, then they won't try to break the barrier, so it should hold on. But I still put nineteen other barriers over it, just in case." Ajuka explains with a calm demeanor to him.


"NO!!! No way!!" Yells Rias in anger. "You are abandoning him like this!! Then I too will go and die with him!!!"


Ajuka looks at Rias weirdly. "What? Why are talking as if he will die?"


Azazel smirks. "Yea, don't underestimate the Existence Eater… plus… he has some terrifying allies…"

Haruto looks at the dozen Gods that descend here. But that is not all as new space cracks appear and other countless Gods enter too. Around a hundred of them, all gather together.


At the front of them is a buff muscular old man with a bushy white beard, white flowing hair, and intense blue eyes staring straight at Haruto.


This is the leader of the Olympic Gods… The Lightning Thrower… Zeus…


Next to him is a blond handsome man with a cold look on his face. He has dark eyes, ones that are looking at Haruto, but not in the eyes. As if he considers himself above the man that he is looking at. He is the God of the Seas… Posideon…


There were many other Greek gods, and Aphrodite is amongst them, she is at the back, just smiling at Haruto gently. To her, it doesn't matter who wins this war, she will be okay with both. Though she still hates Hephaestus for using his net to capture her as she was cheating on him with Ares. She didn't see anything wrong with that, as she didn't even want to marry someone like Hephaestus, she only married him when she was a new Goddess who wanted protection. Hephaestus offered that and was glad that someone as ugly as him was able to get a woman like Aphrodite.


She glances at her ex-husband, Hephaestus, a man with a deformed and a club foot looks at Haruto with eyes filled with hate.


Haruto looks at all of them, both the dozens of Greek Gods and the hundred other Gods. His gaze is fearless, staring at each of their faces, memorizing them all. 

"What do you bastards want? Did you finally accept that you are all too weak to fight me alone?" Haruto mocks them, enraging the proud Gods. "What are you all looking at me like that for? After all, only by admitting what we are can we get what we want."




This enrages the Gods to end, and Zeus gathers a giant lighting bolt that shines through the whole Underworld and shoots it at Haruto.


BOOOM!!!

A/N: Aphrodite is playing both sides, so no matter who wins, then she won't suffer badly. It's a logical decision on her mind.


P.S: Not everything is as black and white as it seems. This conflict isn't as simple as one side is good with justice behind them, and the other evil with no rediming qualities.
