Chapter 68



Title: Half Dead...

Hisoka uses his Bungee Gum to hang outside of the 200 Floor fall, he then jumps at intervals, using his Bunger Gum as a rope to swing himself back to the ground. 


Since it's night, people don't pay attention to him. Hisoka still has a smirk on his face. 'Damn, that guy was a real monster. If there was a wider space to fight in, I wouldn't have been injured so much. I almost died this time, should be more careful about this.'


As he walks down the road, a shadow looks down at him from the roof. Hisoka instinctively can sense this, even though the person is hidden. "You can come out now."


He prepares for battle, using Bungee Gum all over his body to keep it straight and steady. 'Nice, I have gotten better at using Bungee Gum lately.'



Machi comes out of the shadows with a casual look on her face. 'This guy has some monstrous instincts.'


He relaxed once he saw it was Machi and breathed out a sigh of relief. "Glad it was you."


"Hm? Did you finally mess with someone who messed you up?" Machi says that emotionlessly, not caring about Hisoka's condition that much. 


"Hehehehe, *cough* *cough*... maybe… hehehe." Hisoka laughs like he just heard the funniest thing in his life. 


"You called me here to fix you some arms at worst, but you look like half-dead to me. It will cost you around 700,000,000 if you want that fixed." Reasons Machi, casually she pulls out her phone. "Since I am unsure you have that kind of money saved up, could you do me an advance payment?"


"Damn~ aren't you cruel." Complains Hisoka, but he pulls out his phone, he cringes slightly as he sees that it is cracked all over. But thankfully for him, it turns on and he sends Machi the 700,000,000 Jenny immediately.


"Hmmm…" Machi contemplates that this might be a good chance to take out Hisoka. She did just get the pay already, so she could just let the clown die. 'Maybe giving him to his pursuers might give me a bigger reward.'



Though Machi doesn't care about money that much, she does know its value. In the end, though, she decides to help Hisoka, she did get paid already, and leaving him behind like this would leave a bad taste.


"Okay, lie down." She orders and Hisoka follows, not having the power to get down probably, he just slumps backward, starting to fall. But he uses his Bungee Gum to slow down his fall and land gently.


Machi gets close and with one look, she takes "photos" of his body by using her photographic memory. She slashes open his shirt and even as she internally cringes, Hisoka's ribs are protruding out, his chest caved in so much that she can see the shape of his lungs. 'How the hell is this guy alive!!'



She immediately starts using her Nen stitches, pulling out a knife, cutting Hisoka's skin and it was even worse than the outside. As even his organs were beeling. She keeps wondering how this man could even move like this. "Turn off your Nen."


Hisoka does so and immediately blood bursts out as his Bungee Gum stops keeping his body intact.

Machi doesn't waste time and gets to work.


<Nen Stitches>



She uses her needles and the thread that she Transmutes. Using it to tie up the lungs, pulling away from the ribs from puncturing it.


Hisoka goes through crazy pain, but he doesn't seem to mind as Machi punches his lungs to get the blood out.


'Well… she isn't going easy.' Thinks Hisoka, as he feels the rest of his organs being stitched together and his cells being revitalized.



His bones heal together, his spine reattached, his ribs go back in place, threats holding them together. Hisoka can even feel his muscles reattach together. 'Her healing ability is amazing as always.'



She then notices the hidden damage to Hisoka's face, since he has stopped using Nen, his {Texture Surprise} has fallen off. Revealing his deformed healing face. She uses her strings to heal his head too, well she will reattach the separated parts and help with the healing. Now it will be up to Hisoka's body to do the rest of the heavy lifting.


Hisoka passes out on the road due to blood loss, pain, and shock that his body and brain suffered during the healing process.


Machi doesn't mind this and walks off, leaving him down the road, she also left a letter telling him that the Phantom Troupe is gathering soon.

As she walks away, amongst the drunk people in the stall. Her good hearing catches someone saying. 

"Hey, did you know that Sub now has been considered the strongest fighter in Heaven's Arena since… like always…"


"Really? Nah man, I don't believe that. He is strong, but the strongest in history? Do you hear yourself?"


"Man… I know what I heard… I swear on my daughter's life."


"You don't have a daughter you dumbass."


"Wait? I don't?"



"Yeah, you are already too drunk. I am taking you back home."



Machi stops in her tracks. 'Sub is here?'


She then looks at the tower. 'Should I pay him a visit?'

Above the 200th flood, its Sub's private floor. He looks at Alloy as he sits down in front of him with an apologetic look on his face. A huge table is in front of them, Sub standing on one end, his arms crossed and an annoyed look on his face, Alloy is on the other side.


"So let me get this straight, you fought Hisoka and lost terribly and even had one of your limbs cut off?" Sub elaborates what happened with a disappointed look on his face. "It's not that you decided to fight him… that doesn't make me angry. But what does is that even with those advantages, you still lost and if Karla hadn't interfered… well your head would be rolling by now."


"Sorry Boss, won't happen again." Apologizes Alloy sincerely.


Sub frowns at that. "Better not, or I will kill you myself."


That is when a dozen or so maids come in, with countless plats of food in their hands. 

"Anyway, let's enjoy this. Make sure to not disappoint me again, Alloy," says Sub casually, his mood becoming happier as he gulfs down plated of delicious food. 'This should give Alloy some encouragement.' He had every advantage in that fight, enclosed space so Hisoka couldn't dodge. But also Alloy outclasses Hisoka on the physical level too.



Karla on the other hand frowns as one of the maids whispers something in her ear. Sub gives her a sideglance for a split second, but he acts like he doesn't notice anything as Karla walks away. A smirk slowly adorns his face.


"Alloy -san, you are okay!!" Gon's surprised shout comes from the outside. Karla has already healed the giant of a man, her healing abilities having evolved past normal by now as she trained her Nen. She can now heal within minutes even heavy injuries that would kill even the strongest of people.



"Heh, of course, kid." Alloy flexes at them. "Look at these muscles, if I didn't hold these bad boys up, it would engulf the whole world."


"Whoa! Really?!! That is so cool!" Gon is amazed at this. Perching Killua to hit him in the back of his head.

Bam!

"It's obviously a lie idiot!" Killua is annoyed, he is especially on edge as he glances at Sub who has eaten over twice his body weight by now. 'How the hell, he still looks normal after eating all that food. Plus the muscular guy is already healed and his arm is reattached? What the hell is up with that regenerative ability!!'


Due to Killua being unknowledgable on the topic of Nen, he couldn't figure out that Karla was the one healing Alloy.

On the other hand, around the 200th floor, Machi sets foot on the floor but is confronted by Karla as she comes out of a corner. 


Machi immediately is on guard, she knows by now that Karla isn't the most stable person mentally. But she still greets the young girl with a smile on her face. "Hello there, Karla."


On the other hand, Karla doesn't return the greeting and just looks at Machi straight in the eyes.

A/N: Hisoka has been shown to be quite monstrous in endurance, handling injuries and pain… especially with his fight against Chrollo in the mange (which I won't spoil).


P.S: I don't know how much I have updated today... I just know that its been a lot.🤣
