Chapter 49



Title: Top 10...

As Haruto burns the petrified gods to ash. He smirks a little and breathes a sigh of relief. He was glad that everything went along with how the plan should have gone. He didn't even have to call in Buddha as plan B. 


That is when the sky cracks and Athena comes through. A smile, but a slightly sad look in her eyes. She can't help it, these were her family who died here.


Haruto can see that, so he decides to not say anything that would hurt.


He digs his hand inside of his chest and a bright ball of shining divinity is pulled out. Athena looks at it in surprise. "What is that?!"



"This?" He points at the small stone in his hand that radiated crazy amounts of divinity. 



"Haru… don't start being mysterious." Athena already knows what he would do next.


"Okay, okay, this is actually the divinity of all the Gods that I killed today." He explains. "I want you to absorb this and enter the Top 10 Strongest in the world."



Athena's body staggers at that. "What? That would be making me the top deity in Europe if I were to absorb that."


"Yep, well… we need this because while I killed a lot of the European Gods, Hades will get ideas to try things." Haruto reasons, after all, others aren't gonna stay quiet and let him take over the divine space in there. So he needs a genuinely strong God that can fill in the gap. Athena is perfect, even better so because she now has the power of most of the Greek Gods. "I need you to take over that place. Most of supernatural Europe must be under control in under a week. Can you do it with the power I am giving you?"



Athena nods. "Thanks… for trusting me with so much power. Heh, now I will be stronger than you."


"Whatcha talking about?" Haruto seems confused by this. "You have always been stronger than me. I am just a simple mediocre magician."


She looks at him with a dull look in her eyes and points around them, the battlefield which he just defeated over a hundred Gods. 


"Ohhh, that was just luck." Haruto scratches the back of his head with an embarrassed look on his face. In the end, she only sighs and smiles, seeing that he is acting like this since someone is probably watching them.




"Well, aren't you a humble one." She takes the divine stone that he gave her and immediately she notices something strange about it. She noticed that the stone was eerily similar to a Philosopher's Stone, except made of Divine energy. In that instant, her eyes widen and as she remembers the giant flog of darkness that is inside Haruto's body. So she finally understood what really was happening to Haruto. 



"How many?" She asks suddenly.


"Hm?" Haruto seems confused by this. But then his face lights up like he got an idea of what she was talking about. "Oh, you mean that. Well, pretty much everyone and everything."



"Oh? So then I am not as strong as you?" Athena raises a questioning eyebrow at that.


"What are you talking about? You are way stronger than me." Haruto answers like always.


*sigh* "Okay, then I will take that." She says as she puts the stone of divinity to her forehead. 


Immediately a bright light shines, one that covers the whole Underworld, and even in the divine realms, it shines like a setting sun.


Every one of the top gods understood what was going on… another creature with the strength to be in the Top 10 had appeared.

The Monkey King looks at this as he is eating a banana on top of a divine tree and smiles. "Hmm… another one? This time of divine nature? Was a new God born? This one seems pretty strong."

Back in the Underworld, Sirzechs, Ajuka, Odin and the others felt their body shake for a split second as an overwhelming pressure covers the whole Underworld. The ORC and Student Council who were in the meeting chambers also felt the chill.


"Seems like a new God has ascended." Says Sirzechs, stopping the discussions about Loki.


Odin on the other hand smirks. "Heh, another strong God. This world has been getting a lot of action lately."


Ajuka on the other hand had a nervous look on his face. "Well… it seems like Existence Eater's side just became more powerful. As Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom has joined the Top 10."


"Bahahaha, she is no longer just the Goddess of Wisdom." Interferes Odin, he seems jovial at something. "She is now Athena, The Goddess of Gods."


"How do you know that?" Asks Sona, she isn't quite knowledgeable on how divine systems work. But it shouldn't be so quick.


"Heh, the brat just spread something like the Heavens System all through Europe right now. It is intruding in my domain." Says Odin. 'The brat… he just tried to take over the Norse God Tree. So this is what he has been through.'



Haruto's Abyss System is everywhere, Europe is no exception, so using that as a guide, he had Athena transfer Divine Power through it and she has moderator access to it, just a step below Haruto's admin access. 


All along Haruto has been planning to create his super God, to the level of the likes of the Biblical God. He can do something that most other Gods don't have. Athena now has her prayer system.



"Is this bad?" Asks Issei, not knowing if he should be happy or angry at this. 


Odin sighs. "Well, it's not bad for you guys. But for us, he is pretty much intruding into my territory, peeing all over it and saying: This is mine now."



*pfft* Azazel wasn't able to hold in his laughter. "Hahahaha, old man, you should be glad that you have a good relationship with us. Plus, Haruto now has a new problem to deal with…"


"Hades…" mumbles Odin, in the end, he relaxes a little. "You are right, during the time I can just have Thor remove the corruption done to the World Tree."



"Anyway, back to Loki, I believe that we should send Rossweisse, Rias' Peerage, and Sona's." Ajuka interferes in this to first try and solves the main problems. "Though I can't teleport all of them. So I would suggest that Gasper and Asia be left behind since they are only the support."


The others are about to give their input, but a bright light shines in the middle of the room as Michael steps through with his light energy seeping out. Irina is also with him and so is Gabriel.


"Hello everyone." He politely greets them, even as he has a crooked smile on his face. 


Irina looks around and waves at the ORC Club.

After some more discussions, they decide that ORC Club, Student Council, Rossweisse, and Irina, all will go to hold back Loki. This way every faction was involved so none of them felt left out. 



"Be careful." Warns Ajuka as he teleports everyone of them away to fight Loki.


As soon as they are gone, a dark magic circle with an eye in the middle of it appears and the room is covered in darkness. 

Haruto comes out of it. "Yeah~ super cool entrance~"


Athena is next to him and has a flustered look on her face. 


"Everyone! I am here to bargain!" Announces Haruto, a huge smile adorns his face as he looks at every one of the people in front of him.
