Chapter 52




Title: Power...





….
Strange amour starts appearing around Haruto's arm as he goes to intercept Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. 


The God of Thunder has a smile on his face as he sees Haruto start to release strange energy. 



But suddenly, the whole world seems to turn gray for a second as a hand appears from behind Haruto and creates a small golden barrier is made around Mjolnir that instantly isolates the hammer easily.


Haruto is a little surprised at that and sees a hand that he recognizes calmly wraps around his neck and hugs him in a loving embrace. 


"Are you okay?" Asks Athena, whose golden hair seems to hug him too. Her voice so alluring that would make even the strongest men fall for her. 

Haruto couldn't help but think. 'I am gonna rail her so hard once we are out of this situation.'



"Woman, who are you?" Thor frowns, wanting to see the Irregular Magician's powers.


"Athena, Goddess of Olympus." She introduces herself while engulfing Haruto in her hug even more. Her divine energy bursts out of her body, it almost pierces the skies, easily passing Thor's and even dwarfing it. This made it clear to everyone who had the advantage in raw power.



"So you must be the one trying to take over then?" He asks, remembering that divine corruption that he had to stop from invading the Norse Mythology Pantheon and making it their own.


Athena on the other hand only subs her face against Haruto's, as if she hadn't seen him for years. This annoys Thor as it seems like she is not paying attention to him at all… which kind of true.


But suddenly she stops moving her hands and looks at Thor with an annoyed look on her face also. "If you want to fight, then do so, don't start acting up like a child."


BOOOOM!!!




A giant lightning bolt instantly hits her position as soon as she says that. But the lightning stops in its tracks and changes course to just hit the ground around her.


"What?!!" Thor is shocked by this. "You intruded into my domain!!"


His thunder had been moved to not hit her. The power felt familiar as he saw that. "Tch, that is Zeus' power, how did someone like you get your hand on it?!"



Athena smiles waving her hand and a giant dark blue magic circle appears with a trident symbol on it. A huge amount of pressurized water shoots at Thor, which he defends from, and even protects the unconscious Loki in his arms, but Thor is still pushed back a lot till he crashes into a mountain.


BOoOm!!


The raw power contest was clear at who was the winner. Athena though seems uninterested in this and whispers some things in Haruto's ear. This makes him have a questioning look on his face. "Never knew you were into that kind of stuff."


"Well, it would strengthen my Domain of Love if that makes you feel better." She has a mischievous smirk, something that Athena usually wouldn't have in public.



Bam!


Haruto karate chops her lightly on the top of her head. "You okay now?"



"Y -Yeah…" Mumbles Athena with a sudden blush on her face. 'Damn, that sudden lust that I felt towards Haruto made me not think straight.'


As the Goddess of Love, Lust, and much more, Athena would normally start going crazy due to her many domains. But she is the Goddess of Wisdom, and Haruto made sure that something like that won't happen. But due to her being new to the power, she can't control it as well as she would like. Normally, Athena is mostly emotionless towards most people, so there is nothing to amplify there. So all her lust, love, desire is extended towards Haruto which made her do something that she wouldn't do in public with him.


'Especially since the Satans and other faction leaders are observing this situation… plus Shiva and Indra too. But this is mostly due to their Passive Abilities.' Now with the power she has, Athena is at the stage where she can interrupt even destiny itself. Prophecies, something that even her father couldn't break, well she can do so easily now. 'Once I gain perfect control over these new powers, I will be able to write fate itself.'


Her abilities had become something that approached the Biblical God. So many domains and powers all blending together perfectly in one body. There was only one person she could thank for such a smooth transaction of power and that is Haruto. His seals were perfectly made for her and how she will absorb the Gods' powers. 'I sometimes forget… but he is a scary level genius. Not even Merlin can compare to him now.'



"Athena, you have gotten better." Haruto suddenly compliments her. "I truly didn't even notice you when you were right behind me."



"Hmm…" Athena thinks about this. "You could have sensed me if I had hostile intentions towards you."



Thor's annoyance turns into anger as he sees them both chatting casually at this.


Haruto huffs. "Yeah, but this was a terrible time to sneak up on me. It was like dropping the soap in a prison shower… no matter with what intentions, I don't want someone behind me at times like those."



Athena chuckles at that. Thor also stops for a moment and his head clears up. "Bahahahaha…"


His laugh surprises everyone. But he now had a friendly expression on his face. "Sorry, I got a little too carried away. I apologize for that. I was caught in the moment."

Athena wanted to continue the fight, not minding the challenge now. But Haruto interrupted her. "No problem. We all get carried away sometimes."




 "Yep, we all do." Thor agrees, but suddenly his eyes shine in an intelligent light and he asks Haruto. "So, how strong are you really?"


"Me?" Asks Haruto while pointing at himself. "I am but a simple Magician of course."


Thor chuckles at that as he puts Loki over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "I see… then if we fought, who would win?"


Haruto shrugs at that. "Who knows…"



'That is not what a magician would say, not even one with seemingly just Ultimate Level magical power.' Thor smirks. But asks one more question before he goes off. "So how strong are you really?"



"Well, a Magician never reveals his secrets." Haruto says mysteriously. "But I would like to think of myself as strong enough to protect myself."


"Is that so?" Rhetorically asks Thor as he goes off in a shine of light.



After that, everyone is left speechless. Except for Athena of course, as she was mostly confused… even now she can't sense Haruto's true power. So in the end she can't help herself as she whispers in his ears. "So, how strong are you?"



Knowing that she will get a truthful answer, she awaits in excitement. 


Haruto smiles and starts explaining. "Well, on a scale of 1-10… if a 7 is good, 10 is horrible, while 57 is mediocre. Well, I guess I would be a 4…"



"Huh?" Athena is confused. "What does that even mean?"


"Figure it out for yourself, aren't you the Goddess of Wisdom?" Haruto jokingly asks.


Athena immediately activates her divinity to try and figure out the answer to Haruto's riddle.
