I just look at my 'father' and say...


"Father can I ask you something?"





My father Danko Shimura looks at me shocked for a second. After all… I never asked for anything from my parents .. not even a toy. I was acting a little strange as a kid after all in case I slipped on my act and did something weird I wouldn't be… you know… the church exists in this world and you never know who might be a crazy fanatic...



Then my father just smiles happily and says.


"Sure whatever you want little sport."


Then I just look at him with a happy face  and in a childish manner I say...




"I saw a movie the other day... I want to learn martial arts. Can I?"


My parents look happily at me and both happily say to me at the same time.


"" Of course.""



I haven't even really shown interest at anything else in my new life except playing until I get tired if you could even call that an interest and I didn't have any friends so they were probably worried.




Then I just simply ask my father in a curious voice...




"Do you know any dojo in town… In which I can learn from."



My father thinks for a second  and then he says.




"No... not really but let's go and find a dojo you  like… when I return from work."




Yeah right old man I could just use the internet it's way easier. No way am I wasting time like that...




….




Then after half an hour… when  father and mother went to work... I searched online and I found some dojos in Kuoh.



And I also just found one with a really interesting name that caught my eye... it is called Senju Gorilla Dojo… and it looks like a really garbage dojo it doesn't even have a review to its name.





 But it has the name Senju which might be a shortcut for the word Senjutsu… and the gorilla part of the name… there might be a Yokai teaching at this dojo.





So now that my parents are not home I go there alone. I wear some baggy clothes to make me look like an older kid and then I go towards it. I go to the dojo which… which is quite a big distance away from my house and it takes a long time to do the journey on foot around 2 hours.



The dojo seems to be surrounded by big walls and two big doors… it looks… kind of like a run down Japanese mansion.


Then I knock on the big doors but no one answers then I look around for a bell or something. I don't find a bell but I do find a writing on the wall that says.



' Only if you are able to get to the other side of  the door are you allowed to enter a world you didn't know even existed any more.'




Hoooh so now I suspect he is the real deal now finally a way to get in the supernatural world…. Or this might also be a scam to attract customers.


But anyway I try the doors and I can't open them… I know that I can if I use Reinforcement…  I will definitely be able to open them but there is probably something more here like a riddle. I then look at the writing again and then... everything makes sense.

Aha I get it now. Then I just… climb over the wall and get to the other side and just move behind the door and see the run down house and think.


'Does anyone even live here anymore. I didn't really check the date of the ad on the website but I was just distracted by the name of the dojo.'


Then suddenly a 3 meter (9"8') gorilla casually came out of the house and then... he walked in front of me. 


I must say this is the closest I have ever been to a gorilla. Then… he smiles which looks terrifying with his surprisingly white teeth that look VERY dangerous and then... he says in a deep voice.


"Hey there little kid are you lost or something.



And… just as I suspected he was a Youkai... or he might be a stray devil, which then I am prepared to kill if he is...



Then I just looked at him and... told him the lie I had prepared for a situation like this.


"Well no, not really I was looking around for a dojo to train in, and your dojo looked interesting and it even had a riddle so I was impressed."



He then laughs out loud and says.



"Hahahaha what a kid, you are not even a little afraid of me."




I just look at him and make a childish smile and extend my hand to him, he looks weirdly at me but he still shakes my hand. then I use Analyse which is a spell I can also use on others. Then a magic circle appears above him and runs through him analysing him. Oho…  so he is a low level Gorilla Yokai. He looks shocked and says.


" So you know how to use magic kid. You are definitely not a normal kid. Where did you learn magic from brat."


I just smile at him and say.



"I learned it by myself."


He then looks at me weirdly… like he knows I am lying and then he says.



"Sure, sure kid whatever you say."


He doesn't seem to trust me. Well... I don't really care. Sometimes if the truth is to outlandish most people won't believe it...

I just looked at him in the eyes and said...




"Sooo can I learn martial arts here… And how much does it cost."




He then makes a scheming face and with a greedy face he says.


" How about 100.000 Yen (1000$) a month."


" Ok how about 100 Yen (1$)."


He then makes an angry face and says.


" What the hell kid why don't I just train you for free."



Well then I guess I will just use my 'childish' face and  then I made a sad face and say to him...



" B -But you could buy candy with that."




He then sighs and says.


"Listen kid I am not talking about you paying me... it will be your parents paying me."




Well this just got boring... I am not willing to waste my time. I then just make a serious non joking face and release a little of my mana which is about high level but I make it look like it's barely low level.




" How about a bet then we will spar if you win I will pay you 10000 yen (100$) a week if you win and if I win you will train me for free."


He then looks at me seriously and he takes a boxing stance and then says.




"Ok kid by the way my name is Chikuo a Gorilla youkai."



I just look at him and say.




" Oh ok. My name is Haruto Shimura you can call me Haru, I am a magician so then when is the fight going to start."


The gorilla smirks. He then picks up a rock and  throws it high in the air and he smirks at me and says.


" When the stone touches the ground the fight will begin."


I just nod.
