Harry Potter: Reborn as Lockhart

Chapter 4




Title: Arriving at Hogwarts 




While on the train hallways of the train with my clothes on and with a hand in my pocket holding my pokcet size luggage bag… magic really is convenient. Then I  summon my wand from my holster and when everything has kind of settled down. I wave my hand in front of me and I whisper…



"Homenum Revelio."



I use this and find a compartment with only one person in it… I go towards it and open it… when I go inside I see a girl around my age. She has long blond hair and clear blue eyes with her hair being so long that it goes to her lower back.


She seems to be trying to use some type of spell on her pet owl… I see her flick her wand at her black owl… and then she keeps saying.


"Colomutanto…"


Then her owl started changing colours… to yellow… and then red… then blue… it kept changing… then without even noticing me opening her compartment door. She says to herself.


"No… I did it wrong."


Then I decide to use that moment to intervene and say.


"Sorry… is this seat free…"


She seems startled for a second and then she looks at me and says with a little embarrassed voice.


"U… Y -Yeah it's free."



I just smile and sit opposite of her and look her in the eyes… I still can't read minds with just a look but… I read her intent… 


Then I smile showing my perfect white teeth and then I say to her…


"You were using quite the complicated spell it seems."


She while still embarrassed says…


"Y -Yeah."


As expected of an embarrassed kid… not a lot of people skill. So I take the lead and take out my luggage from my pocket and it enlarges up to its original size. Then I smile at her and say...


"My mother bought it enchanted like this. Pretty neat right…."


She doesn't say anything so I just open my briefcase and put my hand inside of it and use a silent and wandless Accio charm to summon my book from the giant room inside my luggage to my hand. 



To the outside perspective it seems like I just normally grabbed a book from my luggage.



I keep my smile on my face… and pull out a first year Charm book from my luggage and say to her.




"Anyway how about we try learning it together. It sounds interesting."


And a smile finally appeared on her face…

And that is how I spent my journey on the Hogwarts Express… learning a spell I already knew… and before arriving at Hogwarts… the girl whose name was Anna is the first to use the spell correctly.



"hyaccolomutatio."



And then her Owl changed to colour blue after some seconds after her I also 'learned' it and was able to use it…


Just like that I had already dissolved the awkward atmosphere between us… and even with her naturally shy personality I became one of Anna's friends… just like that… as easy as manipulating a child… oh wait… I am manipulating a child… 


Then as we are about to arrive at Hogwarts I go outside of the compartment and wait for Anna to change into her robes..

Then I notice two Slytherin students who seem to be around second year students… when they see me and notice my stylish yellow colored muggle suit but without a tie… They smile at me and as they are about to say something…


But I immediately take my wand out and before they can even react...



"Oblivate."



…and as if anything is wrong they just walk past me. Not even paying attention to me. 



I don't want to already cause a ruckus or anything like that… if there was one thing that Gilderoy Lockhart was talented at it was the mind arts… and with my HARD work on my hands the Oblivate charm has become a wrecking ball… I can almost instantly manipulate someone's memories that even the most skilled Legilimen will not notice…

Then as the Slytherin walked away.  Anna Abbott's head comes out of the compartment door and then she says. 



"Ok I am done."




Then she comes outside and I go inside to change into my robes. 





….



And when that is all done and then me and Anna… which I learned that she is a pureblood her full name is Anna Abbott… so that is neat...



 The train arrived at Hogwarts… the older students went with the thestrals… and the first hears went with the boats and… seeing Hogwarts like this truly is amazing… a view like this is… truly beautiful… then when we arrive at Hogwarts we are greeted by Minerva Mcgonagall… she seems younger in comparison to during the time she will teach Harry's generation… 


She explained the points system and some of the rules then… we entered the halls of Hogwarts and I finally saw… possibly my hardest challenge during Hogwarts… this could literally ruin everything for me… the Sorting Hat…

AUTHOR NOTE:

(No matter how the other fanfics portray it… Dumbledore can Apparate in Hogwarts which should technically be impossible… so that means that he as headmaster has control of certain things inside the castle…)


P.S: This was also why Voldemort never directly even dared to appear at Hogwarts when Dumbledore was alive since one could Apparate and the other couldn't Dumbledore had the ABSOLUTE advantage and Voldemort would lose if he even dared to do anything… that is why he sent Draco and Bellatrix to do his dirty deeds… because if he went there… that is where he would be wasted by Dumbledore with the help of the Hogwarts Wards he wouldn't even be able to run away...
